“You… You slapped me?!” She screeched.

I ignored her and brought my hand back to give her another slap across her other cheek with a loud smack.

“You bit–“

I backhanded her across the face again.

She screamed and tried to charge at me but I simply grabbed her shoulder with my other hand to hold her still, the woman unable to overpower me since I had obviously higher strength than this physically weak spellcaster.

Then I slapped her face again.

Just so you know, I wasn’t slapping her lightly at all. I was slapping with enough force to leave a distinct red mark on each side of her face every time my hand landed on her.

“Stop! You–“

Smack.

“Wait! I–“

Smack.

“You don’t–“

Smack.

“Stop! Stop!”

Smack.

“I… Give u–“

Smack.

“Plea–“

Smack.

Smack.

Smack.

I continued to just slap her face for a couple dozen more times before I finally stopped.

It wasn’t because I was satisfied that I stopped, but when she stopped talking, I had initially thought she had figured out trying to plead with me to stop was useless so she shut her mouth.

But then I realised she wasn’t moving at all and then I finally knew that it was because she could no longer maintain her Chronomancy spell so we were moving way faster than she could react to right now.

I guess that’s one bad thing about this… There’s no fun in beating up someone who isn’t capable of reacting…

Looking to the side, I could see the girls were still busy smacking those women around without mercy. Odeta even had the taller karen by her ankle and was smashing her on the ground like she was using her to hammer something.

I cleared my throat, “Ahem… Girls? I think we can stop now… They are all stopped in time right now so they can’t even react to what we’re doing…”

All of them stopped to look at the women they were currently smacking to realise that I was telling the truth.

“Oh well… I think we can just conclude this and stop right?” I suggested.

The girls look a little disappointed but there was obviously nothing we could do about this anyway.

I then turned to Ather, only to see her chugging down another bottle of mana potion before she stretched out her hand, this time pointing her palm at the karen group.

“[Acceleration].”

The reaction was instantaneous as the karens all started screaming again.

“Ahhhhh!!! Nooo!! Please stop!!!”

“AAhhhh!! It hurts!! It hurtsss!!!”

“Nooo!!! I give up! I give up!!”

“–se stop!!!”

Oh… Hehehe… Ather, you are such a genius~

We jumped right back into smacking them around again and I had a really nice time slapping their leader’s face until they were both puffed up and swollen before I finally let her go.

I dusted my hands, “Huaaa~ That was definitely satisfying!”

Katsuki appeared beside me with a towel and I gratefully reached out my hands so that she could start wiping them for me.

Ather nodded, “I definitely agree.”

Says the person who wasn’t just slapping her opponent but actually beating them up with closed fists…

At least she still had that emotionless look the entire time while she was doing it so she was still on brand…

Odeta let out a laugh, “Wahahaha! I have to admit that wasn’t as satisfying as beating up monsters but it’s still satisfying at least!”

My other girls also nodded in agreement.

Katsuki finished wiping my hands, the towel going away stained with some blood which came from me smacking their leader.

“Right then, you can release the spell now, Ather.”

She nodded and snapped her fingers, prompting the world around us to return back to normal speed.

We returned to an arena that was filled with silence and I realised to this group of people, it would have looked like we had simply shifted a little from our original positions and the entire karen group was beaten to a pulp.

In all their other fights, it must have ended like this but they were the ones that still remained standing. So right now, when they were presented the sight of it being the complete opposite of what they expected, their minds must be having trouble trying to comprehend it.

And like the first time when we beat the group, the silence lasted only for a while before all of them started cheering all at the same time.

“They won!! They actually won!!”

“Ahhhhh!! I knew I should have bet money on this!!”

“Noooo!!! I’m so happy they lost but I bet that they won!! I lost all that money!!!”

“Ahhhh!! A miracle has happened! This is a miracle!!”

“We’re saved!! We’re saved!!”

Odeta turned to the crowd, “Alright now. We’ll be implementing our own rules. Everyone now has to obey us or die.”

The cheers quickly quietened down and they were staring at us in shock.

Odeta chuckled, “Nah, I’m just kidding~ Should have seen the look on your faces!! Wahahaha!”

There was a collective sigh of relief coming from the crowd before all of them shifted their attention down to the karen group that were still laying on the ground in front of us, all of them beaten badly.

We didn’t kill them so the enchantment did not activate to send them outside the arena but it was clear to everyone that they were in absolutely no shape to fight.

I turned to the Guild staff who was still staring at the sight of the karens on the ground while his mouth was open in shock.

“Ahem… I believe we need someone to announce the result of this duel?”

He jerked slightly as though he just woke up from a dream.

“Ah… Ah… Win… Winner! Miss Aster’s party! The White Dragon’s Sword Maidens!!”

The arena was filled with cheers once again, drowning out any other sound.

Seems like everyone is really happy this group got defeated huh?

Looking at the stands, I can see some of them crying while hugging each other, a few of them literally jumping up and down in joy, and then the few who took off their tops and were swinging their shirts around above their heads.

Yes, some of the ones who did that were also girls.

Obviously I wasn’t interested in them since I had my girls right in front of me.

“What should we do with them now, Aster?” Lisa asked, nodding at the women on the ground.

I shrugged, “Honestly, I never planned this far so… Maybe hand them over to the Guild to deal with? Actually, that doesn’t sound like a good idea since they would just use their strength to bully them again…”

Emilia raised her hand, “Boss!! Before you do anything! Please heal their leader back to consciousness first!”

Eh? Err… Ok?

I went up to her to use [Close Wounds] on her, seeing no reason to heal her more than necessary in case she tries to retaliate against us.

I kept the healing up just enough for her to regain consciousness before pulling away, letting Emilia take my place while I wondered what she was planning to do.

She crouched down and gave the woman a few light slaps on the side of her face, “Hey, wake up. Wake up. Time to face the consequences of your actions.”

“Wha… What…” She muttered groggily, still out of sorts.

“Come on, sit up, sit up. I need your hands to be available for this.”

“What… What are you doing?”

“Hmm? Of course I need you to sign the agreement. We neglected doing this before it started since you guys didn’t give me a chance to do it but now I need you to formalise the agreement.”

Karen pushed herself up on an arm and blinked in confusion, “What agreement?”

“Come on, don’t act dumb now. The agreement that you owe us five million Creas if you lose the duel of course. What else?”

Oh right, I actually completely forgot about that agreement that they were supposed to owe us that money if they lost. I was so satisfied with being able to slap their faces that it left my mind.

Karen blinked a few times before her brows furrowed, “What?! I never agreed to something like that! Do you think–“

She didn’t get to finish her words before Emilia grabbed her by the back of her head and smashed her face into the ground.

She then pulled her back up by the hair and smiled at her, “What’s that? I don’t think I heard you clearly. You’ll sign it right?”

“Don’t… I… This is illegal! The… The people here can see this!!”

“What? You think these people that you bullied will actually stand on your side?” Emilia scoffed before turning to the crowd. “Hey, everyone! Am I doing something wrong? This little bitch agreed that if her party won, we will owe her five million Creas and if we won, she will owe us the same! Now I just want her to sign an agreement for those terms and she claims it’s unfair! Is that true?!”

“No! She has to sign it!”

“She already agreed! She has to sign!”

“Sign it!”

“Sign it!!”

“Sign it!!”

Wow… You sure know how to work up a crowd as well huh, Emilia?

Guess she isn’t a merchant for nothing~
