Chapter 190: “Sword, Come!”

“An Emperor Weapon!”

“The Crown Prince of Beiyang can already wield an Emperor Weapon?”

“What terrifying power…”

“Wait, isn’t this the weapon of the Thunder Emperor?”

The sudden emergence of an Emperor Weapon left everyone in awe.

Whether it was the Great Emperors present, the crowd in Tianjian City, or the countless onlookers who had gathered, all were stunned beyond words.

Even Lin Weixuan, who had doubted earlier, now fully believed. With an Emperor Weapon in hand, slaying an Emperor’s corpse was no longer just a possibility but a certainty.

This young man had not only inherited the legacy of the Thunder Emperor but also claimed his sword?

“The Crown Prince’s Emperor Weapon has completely nullified the oppressive might of those lingering Great Emperors!”

Moments earlier, the oppressive aura had nearly brought the maids to their knees. Now, they could stand with ease, gazing at Lin Qi’an with admiration shining in their eyes.

“This brat!”

Even the Great Emperors in the sky were shaken.

Lin Qi’an was already terrifying enough, but now, with the ability to wield an Emperor Weapon, he had become an unrivaled monster. Among the younger generation, no one could stand against him anymore.

“Master, the Great Emperors are all headed for Lin Qi’an!” Tong Xiang hurriedly ran to report the news.

Lu Weishuang, upon hearing this, disregarded her own standing and prepared to intervene.

What if the Great Emperors, out of anger or frustration, decided to vent their fury on Lin Qi’an?

However, just as she reached the sky, she witnessed the awe-inspiring display of the Thunder Annihilation Sword’s Emperor’s might.

Thunderclouds churned as lightning dragons roared. The entire world seemed to tremble in deference to its power.

“The Thunder Annihilation Sword… he’s fully awakened it?” Lu Weishuang’s emotions were complex. Tears rolled down her face as a mixture of joy and sorrow surged within her.

She was overjoyed that Lin Qi’an had far exceeded her expectations, awakening the Thunder Annihilation Sword so quickly.

Yet sorrow crept in, for within the familiar aura of the sword, she saw a shadow of the Thunder Emperor from the past. Memories resurfaced, and with them, the ache of loss.

“Master, Brother Lin truly is a man of legend!”

The commotion had drawn every expert in Tai’an City.

Even the Tai’an Emperor was uneasy, his heart gripped with anxiety. Great Emperors and Quasi-Emperors—if they clashed, Tai’an City would be reduced to rubble!

“What a magnificent Emperor Weapon!”

“Lin Weixuan, your son truly is extraordinary!”

The Great Emperors couldn’t hide the envy in their voices.

To have such a powerful heir was a blessing they couldn’t help but covet. Especially since their own heirs were either missing or dead, while Lin Weixuan’s offspring grew stronger by the day.

It was becoming evident that the future belonged to Tianjian City.

“We’re not here to cause trouble. We simply want the truth, Lin Weixuan. Surely you understand this?”

The Kui Long Emperor attempted to apply pressure, his tone laced with veiled threats.

The Tai’an Emperor, observing this scene, felt despair wash over him.

They didn’t understand Lin Weixuan. Pressuring him? That was asking for trouble. He would respond with overwhelming force!

“Fine. I’ll give you the truth.” Lin Weixuan slowly raised his right hand, spreading his fingers wide. His voice boomed across the heavens, traveling for tens of thousands of miles.

“Sword, come!”

The simple phrase rang out like the toll of a great Dao bell.

In Tai’an City, tens of billions of people felt their ears quake, their bodies trembling at the sound.

Across the City.

In a blacksmith’s shop, the clang of metal echoed as swords hanging on the walls suddenly rose into the air, transforming into streaks of light that shot out of the building.

“What’s happening? My swords!”

Everywhere in the city, in blacksmith shops and weapon stores, the same scene played out.

Swords from all corners of the city flew into the sky, accompanied by a deafening symphony of sword cries.

“What’s going on? What was that voice just now?”

“My sword won’t obey me!”

An elderly man chuckled. “Didn’t you hear that call? That was the Sword Emperor.”

“If the Sword Emperor calls upon your sword, it’s an honor. Hand it over without delay!”

As realization dawned, people began to understand. This was the Sword Emperor summoning their swords.

“Sword, go!”

“My humble blade is honored to serve the Sword Emperor!”

“Though I am unworthy, I gladly lend my sword to the Sword Emperor!”

“Hahaha! Who would have thought I’d one day assist the Sword Emperor? It’s an honor!”

“Let the Dao Domains witness the true might of the Sword Emperor!”

At a sword academy, nearly a hundred disciples, all dressed in white training robes, practiced their sword techniques in unison.

Suddenly, the master of the academy shouted, “Release your swords!”

The disciples promptly let go of their weapons, watching as their swords flew out the door and into the sky.

They followed quickly, gazing with fervent admiration toward the distant heavens.

“It’s the Sword Emperor! He’s summoning our swords!”

“Hahaha! What an honor!”

The entire city was enveloped in an endless chorus of sword cries.

Countless flying swords soared into the sky—some from the hands of cultivators, others from windows and treasure vaults.

At Lin Weixuan’s command, “Sword, come,” every blade answered.

It was as if a monarch had issued a command. The swords throughout the city were like thousands of soldiers under his throne, all responding to his will.

Like a torrential downpour, a meteor shower, or a swarm of locusts, the swords converged from every direction, blanketing the entire sky.

Witnessing this scene, countless people were left in awe, their pupils trembling with shock.

“With just one call, every sword in the city responds—what kind of divine power is this?”

“The Sword Emperor Lin Weixuan truly lives up to his title as the strongest Great Emperor of the Canglan Dao Domain!”

“What could have possibly caused the Sword Emperor to make such a grand gesture? Whoever provoked him must have a death wish!”

“It’s because someone troubled the Crown Prince, and the Sword Emperor is furious!”

Gu Jingyun was the most shaken among them. He now realized that during their earlier duel, Lin Qi’an hadn’t even been using his full strength. His century-honed blade intent wasn’t even worthy of drawing out Lin Qi’an’s true power.

The Tai’an Emperor sighed inwardly: “Why did you provoke him? Now how do you plan to clean up this mess?”

The Kui Long Emperor was equally unsettled. “How is the Sword Emperor this powerful? Why isn’t his reputation more widespread in my Tianhai Dao Domain?”

The Xiling Emperor muttered to himself, “So he’s serious now. Lin Weixuan is truly intent on standing against all of us?”

“Gentlemen, please receive my swords!” Lin Weixuan’s hand swept across the sky as though brushing against the heavens themselves.

Then came the downpour of swords!

At that moment, the sky resembled a vast, glittering rain of stars, but not a single sword harmed an innocent bystander. Each blade was directed solely at the five challengers.

“To witness such a scene in my lifetime… what a blessing!”

“Attending this grand gathering was worth it for this sight alone!”

“The Sword Emperor battling three Great Emperors and two Quasi-Emperors single-handedly—this is a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle!”

“Today’s battle proves that Lin Weixuan still has his pride and arrogance!”

“Without such spirit, how could one walk the Great Dao? I understand now. I have gained enlightenment!”

As the storm of swords subsided, the three Great Emperors stood gasping for breath, their foreheads slick with sweat.

The two Quasi-Emperors, meanwhile, had blood dripping from the corners of their mouths, their injuries evident.

“One man against five, and he even managed to injure two of them. Is Lin Weixuan even human?”

“His strength is terrifying!”

“What kind of monsters does the Lin family breed? This is absurd!”

The crowd erupted in exclamations of disbelief.

Every move made by the Sword Emperor seemed to redefine the limits of what was possible.

Before today, many believed that the Sword Emperor had fallen into decline and no longer retained his former glory.

But now, seeing him in action, it was clear that he was stronger than ever—so much so that his strength was beyond comprehension.

Even Bai Jiuli offered his evaluation.

“Who would’ve thought? Your father isn’t just an ordinary Great Emperor after all.”

“Interesting!”

Lin Qi’an grinned, “My old man’s still got it.”

Lin Liuli sighed, “I’m speechless. You father and son are just ridiculous.”

Lin Hongyu cheered, “Father, you’ve got this!”

With a calm demeanor, Lin Weixuan asked, “Does anyone else wish to continue this line of questioning?”

The challengers exchanged glances, unable to utter a word. They knew that if they worked together, they might defeat Lin Weixuan.

But such an alliance was impossible.

Their factions were too different to unite, and for multiple Great Emperors to gang up on one individual would be an irreparable stain on their dignity.

Besides, any one of them alone would be easily overpowered by Lin Weixuan. There was no need to risk forming a death feud with him.

“Forget it. We’ll ask someone else!”

“Hmph, let’s go!”

With that, the group left, their sleeves billowing with indignation.

This day would be recorded in the annals of history.

Three Great Emperors and two Quasi-Emperors had joined forces to interrogate Tianjian City.

Yet with a single command—”Sword, come!”—the Sword Emperor summoned the swords of an entire city to his aid.

Two Quasi-Emperors were injured, and none dared pursue the matter further. Such a feat left the audience in awe.

“That Sword Emperor must’ve given the Tianhai Dao Domain a bit of a shock!”

“Tianjian City is far too powerful!”

“Right now, it’s strong because of the Sword Emperor. In the future, it’ll be even stronger because of the Crown Prince!”

“No wonder so many sects are eager to curry favor with Tianjian City. Aligning with them means gaining a formidable backer for the future.”

“Especially Tianchi Holy Land—they’ve already latched on and taken off! Ah, if only we had seized that opportunity earlier.”

“Daughter, you’d better put in some effort. Maybe the Crown Prince will notice you.”

“Granddaughter, you really need to change your habit of avoiding makeup and dressing up. That has to stop now!”
