Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?
Chapter 1658 1658: Physique Refinement—–
While sitting cross-legged, Agua closed her eyes, in the middle of the formation, surrounded by materials of all shapes and sizes. She released her Aura, slowly merging it with the magic circle. Although there might have been risks before, the imperfections of the formation were fixed by Aquarina’s parents, and they also added themselves as the recipients of any negative backlash. As they were so strong, the backlash would be so minimal they wouldn’t even get damaged.
“Now, dear, in and out, breathe slowly…” Said her mother. “You can do this. Breathe slowly, release your Mana, your Aura… Slowly… can you feel it?”
“Y-Yeah…” Agua nodded timidly, feeling a sensation within her very being as she connected to the formation. Slowly, the entire formation started glowing brightly.
It became completely blue, as hundreds of large magic runes of blue color activated, glowing brightly and expanding in size even more. Bright rays of blue light emerged from each rune, which unified into a sea-like illusion made of pure mana and spirit energy.
The sea swirled around her, as her mother had to step back if she didn’t want to interrupt the ritual in some way, leaving her daughter alone in the middle of this chaos of mana and spirit energy.
FLUOSH!
As the water-like energy continued growing larger and larger, several fish, eel, lobster, crab, shrimp, and more aquatic animals appeared, made of spiritual light.
They all swam through this water, surrounding Agua and slowly beginning to merge with her body, slowly disappearing one by one through her skin.
Her white tattoos became blue, as they began to change, resembling fish, eel, crabs, lobsters, and more animals that had been used as materials for the ritual.
Their very essence, their lifeforce became part of this ritual, and also part of her powers.
At the same time, something larger started to emerge from within it, Aquarina kept the formation going with her techniques and her support skills, while watching in silence.
“You can do this, Agua!”
As this happened, Agua saw the water engulf her completely, drowning in it.
SPLASH!
For a moment, Agua felt like she was drowning in water, and she started to rapidly swim through it, trying to get to the surface as quickly as possible.
Despite the strange and desperate situation, she couldn’t help but feel a strangely soothing sensation around her.
This entire ritual, the water that engulfed her and even the sea animals, it all felt so nice for her…
“Huh? I’m not drowning?”
She realized that there was no surface, just endless water, and once she began to relax, she felt like she was no longer drowning either!
She was left perplexed, opening her eyes amidst the blue depths.
“Oooh…”
Her eyes widened, as she saw a beautiful undersea landscape, bright corals and more greeted her. Thousands of animals swimming everywhere. The sunlight passed through the water gently, illuminating everything faintly, just enough to appreciate the beauty of the ocean.
“Where am I though?”
She recalled that Justicio had said something about fighting an Alchemy Spirit, and Aquarina told her something similar, that she had to “fight”.
Then, slowly…
RUMBLE!
Something began approaching her, something gigantic… her eyes widened at the sight of this majestic yet enormous creature.
Its silhouette and shadow alone covered the sea depths with darkness, as its gigantic body emerged, looming above her body.
It extended its two eyes out of its shell, glaring at her with interest.
It was a massive crustacean, mollusk, and fish hybrid.
A gigantic creature with a massive spiraling, colorful rainbow-colored shell, like that of a sea snail, its body interior was that of a crustacean, with big, long eyes like those of mollusks, and tentacles.
Its shell was blue colored, and it had two giant red and blue crab-like pincers, with several legs, while also having a long eel-like body with a long-scaled tail.
It was sea chimera like nothing she had seen before!
“W-What do I do… It’s huge… I-I can’t… I can’t fight this…”
Agua hesitated, growing more fearful as the massive thing slowly drew closer to her, its huge pincers pointed at her.
However, it was moving slowly, glaring at her…
“Huh?”
She realized it reacted angrily when she acted fearful, following her as she tried to move away.
But when she stayed still or drew closer, it strangely became silent.
“W-What…?”
“…”
The two eyes of the creature glanced at Agua in silence, glowing with fluorescent rainbow colors.
“Um…”
Agua slowly approached the creature, who seemed wary.
“I thought… there was going to be a fight?”
“…”
However, as she drew closer to the Alchemy Spirit, she touched its crab-like claws, the creature groaned, but it didn’t hit her or something.
She caressed the smooth surface and smiled.
“There, there… There’s nothing to be afraid of.” She smiled with honesty and purity. “I thought you were going to try to fight me, so I was scared… But you won’t, right?”
“Grrrhh…” the creature slowly opened its claws, as Agua gasped, closing her eyes.
And yet…
It simply closed them again.
“Eh?”
She caressed the creature, and it opened and closed its claws, it seemed to be some kind of response.
Was it happy perhaps?
“Would you help me evolve my physique? I need to grow stronger… To help out my friends, to step into the world outside… I also want to do that inheritance… I want to prove myself.”
“Grrrhh…”
The creature, of enormous size which Agua couldn’t even calculate, seemed to agree with her.
Slowly, it turned into pure rainbow light, merging with her body.
FLAAASH!
Until eventually, the entire thing dissipated into a lot of light, boosting her physique to a completely new level.
And at the same time, a small version of the creature remained, although much less grotesque in appearance, it resembled an adorable red and blue colored hermit crab with a rainbow shell made of crystals, it had those long, snail-like rainbow eyes too, which glowed with fluorescent light.
“Wow! You shrank!”
“Gyuuuhh…”
The Alchemy Spirit flew towards her, as Agua hugged it, and then, she woke up.
