Kent locked eyes with the tiger-masked man for a few seconds before ripping the mask off his face. The moment the mask came off, gasps spread across the space.

The Elven warriors, Lady Aelith, King Thalirion, the elders, and the guards at the door gasped in unison. This prompted Kent to scan him. When he did, his eyes widened.

“Looks like you’re famous, Kenji, or should I call you the Blade Whisperer… the most wanted criminal/assassin of the world.” Kent smiled as Kenji’s expression shifted from anger to fear.

Kent didn’t even bother paying attention to that, since he was busy reading about the crimes the scum before him had committed many years ago, but had never been caught for.

“Please tell me I’m not seeing things, but did he just unmask the true face of crime, the one that caused several powerhouses to remain indoors 1,200 years ago?” Lord Zaltarish asked, sounding even more scared as he spoke.

“What does this mean?”

“What do we do?”

“I mean, he was the one responsible for the poisoning, right… the one that left our Queen bedridden for a thousand years now?”

King Thalirion clenched his fist, staring at the man Kent had under lockdown, unsure of what to do. He had spent 400 years hunting this man, not to kill him but to get an antidote, one he needed to cure the poison in his wife.

One thousand two hundred years ago, King Thalirion was just crowned King of the Half-Elven race after their previous king used the tribulation to ascend to a higher world.

That day, when everything was reaching a climax, the Blade Whisperer, one of the most dangerous assassins in the world, struck.

He came for the new king, planning to end his legacy before it even began. However, he couldn’t kill the king because his dagger never reached him.

Instead, it pierced the Queen, who willingly threw herself at the blade laced with the most potent poison known to man.

Since then, the queen has been bedridden, barely alive thanks to an artifact the Dwarves used to protect her heart. Of course, such an evil assassin wouldn’t reveal the ingredients of his poison, so even after spending billions to hire Pill Kings, they couldn’t do anything.

Their only hope was to reach the Pill Emperor; that was their only chance. So for the past 1,000 years, the Half-Elves had been trying to send their best and brightest to the Supreme Immortal Sect in the hope they could reach the unreachable Pill Emperor—or, in this context, Pill Empress.

However, to this day, they have been unable to make any headway.

So, watching the cause of their decline and the reason the Elves fiercely tried to suppress the Half-Elves, King Thalirion didn’t know what even to do…His anger is boiling to the point that he could make a rational decision.

Kent read through the various crimes of the Blade Whisperer before turning to look at the King, whose fists were clenched, blood dripping—it was clear he was barely holding himself back.

Kent sighed and sent a message to Vexthra before speaking to the King.

“Being angry doesn’t look good on you, King Thalirion. I will cure your wife after I handle this scum.”

Under normal circumstances, Kent’s words could be dismissed when he claimed he could cure what Pill Kings couldn’t. However, knowing what Kent had already done for them, the King paused for a few seconds and nodded.

“Good one,” Kent smiled, then turned back to Tiger Fang. “You are one nasty individual, Mr. Tiger. It turns out everyone wants you dead—and here I thought I would spare your life.” Kent shook his head with a smile that was both amused and furious.

“Right now, I won’t kill you myself, but you’re going to wish I did.” Kent turned to Lady Aelith.

“I know you came thinking I was some weakling you could prey on. But here’s the thing, young lady: I may be 21 years old, but I have more than enough strength to kill hundreds of you.

However, I was raised by a woman this universe doesn’t deserve, so I will let you go. I know enough to know you are someone important to your people, so go back and be sure to tell your people the Half-Elves are off-limits.

From today onwards, they will start to rise, and there is nothing any of you can do to stop them. Of course, you might say, ‘What happens after I leave? What then can they do when you come back?” Kent laughed and snapped his fingers.

Suddenly, Tribe Chief Malthar, Elder Ureth, Elder Farra, and Elder Zarka appeared, unleashing their overwhelming auras, which pushed everyone back, except for Kent.

Kent smiled, watching the public display of dominance. After the four new arrivals withdrew their aura, Kent spoke.

“Welcome to Elarion, Tribe Chief Malthar, Elder Ureth, Farra, and Zarka…”

“It’s good to be here, Kent. This place is nice… not that it’s anywhere close to where we live… It’s just good to be outside,” Tribe Chief Malthar said with a smile.

“We’ll talk about that later,” Kent laughed and turned back to Lady Aelith. “From what I know, the Elves and Half-Elves were once allies… so what happened? Why can’t that be a thing anymore?

Well, I don’t care… Just know that these four are looking to ally with the Half-Elves, and in case you have any plans to be arrogant, why don’t you hear what the imposing one has to say?”

Tribe Chief Malthar stepped forward. “I see you’re also a warrior, so you can call me Malthar. I am the tribe chief of the Bloodvein tribe, from the Dead Region.”

Everyone who heard him widened their eyes, unsure of what to think.

The Dead Region—one of the most dangerous places in the Ancient Battlefield of Parting, a place no sane person dares to go. Now, there are not one but four people from that place standing before them…

What does that mean?

What does that say to them…

“You heard the man… He and his tribe are now willing to ally with the Half-Elves, meaning they now have the backing not just of me, but of a tribe from the Dead Region.

I know you are wise, young lady, so be sure to make the right choice, because while I don’t want to become enemies of the Elves, I also can wipe you out just like you did with the High Elves.” Kent winked at Lady Aelith, whose body shuddered and face turned pale.

“Now, back to you, Mr. Tiger. How do you want to die?”
