No.8 was not stupid knowing the conditions that Jin set were of a tall order. If she and her Commando Mages fail, they would be a laughing stock among the Dashavatara. Although Jin had kept the circle small by having only Kalki oversee the battle alone as a third party observer, there was nothing stopping the Goddess of War from telling her fellow comrades how pathetic the Commando Mages were.

But this was the reality that they were in right now. Their King was one who have knowledge of their skills and abilities especially when he was the instructor who nurtured and trained these adventurers to their current potential.

Of course, Kraft did play a hand in their training regime but the bulk of it remained under Jin's care. When he said they have ten tries meant that the difficulty spike to win this dungeon instance against the God of Preservation would not be an easy obstacle.

"Will the minions respawn if we die and try again?" No.8 queried which the King had the answer on his fingertips that these were the first few typical questions they were poised to ask.

"No. They will not. However, Lord Vishnu would heal back to full health upon your failure. And take this as a piece of advice from your instructor. He is not just some preset monster in some computer programme. Whatever tricks you have allowed him to see, there might be a chance he can counter them the next round." Jin said and No.8 could suddenly feel a cold sensation running up her spine.

She knew that the king would not say such a thing so easily but whether it was truth or a piece of information meant to coerce or divert their ability to think properly, that was another matter entirely.

"I would like to question the difficulty of this dungeon...instance. Is it truly defeatable? Without proper proof-" Before No.7 who brought up this issue was given a chance to complete her sentence, Jin sighed as he waved his hands and a magic eye screen appeared right in front of them.

What was shown was something terrifying. It was showing their King, Jin fighting with Lord Vishnu in a blank white space arena. However, instead of allowing them to have information on Lord Vishnu's attack patterns or possible techniques, Jin flicked his wrist once more and the video forward 4x as fast.

The frames were moving at 4 times the speed but it roughly showed the sequence of Jin clashing against the God of Preservation multiple times until the end where the King had an advantage against Lord Vishnu, forcing him to bring out the white flag to admit defeat.

"Enough evidence that he can be defeated?" Jin asked and even Kalki who was at the sidelines finally saw that Jin was also a formidable foe which she was lucky to never clash blades with. Now she felt like she would have made herself a fool for even thinking to fight against the King of Ress.

"Well, if you find that there is no way you guys can defeat him, there is always the route to refuse it. No shame in acknowledging that you are inadequate for the fight and you can always come back later when you are ready." Jin looked at Kalki as if waiting for her acknowledgwment if postponement was possible.

She shrugged her shoulders in return, signalling to him that it was all up to the person who proposed this fight in the first place.

"Yes, we will accept the deal then." No.8 had no reason to refuse this fight especially when she and the others had been wanting this fight since the start of this conversation. If they back down now, it will look like they do not have the resolve in the first place.

The others also nodded their heads with determination despite knowing that they would all die a horrible death at the start of it all and maybe for the next ten rounds.

In fact, they felt that Jin was doing this on purpose and to let them feel humiliated ten times to get the message across. But deep inside, they all felt that their King might have underestimated them... though the only way to prove it was with actions.

"We will get ourselves prepared before going in." No. 8 said but Jin shook his head.

"When you come into my office to complain, you should have already been ready. I will only give you a grace period of 15 minutes. Nothing more than that." Jin said as he took out his infamous sand dial which he had used back during their training days and flipped it around.

Without any vocal confirmation from their leader, everyone already knew what to do and gave their salute before dashing out of the office in order to get their supplies, leaving Kalki and Jin in the room alone and the portal to the dungeon instance opened.

"I can see why Lord Vishnu put some faith in you."

"Not really, I cannot see why though...? I just managed to beat him twice. Once unfairly and one time in a fairer duel." Jin said as he laid back on his chair a little more.

"You do not need to act with me around. If my subordinates ever defied me this way, I would have cut them down right on the spot. Yet, you give them the time to learn their inferiority and if they managed to push through, they deserved it."

"Urgh. Then you better prepare a Celestial Head to cut off." Jin commented which caused Kalki to put up a smile.

"Well... you did not say that the Celestial has to be a Dashavatara, nor did you allow them to choose whose head needs to be cut...so I do not see any issue at all," Kalki replied and Jin pretended not to hear anything that came out from the mouth of that particular Goddess of War.

All he knew was that he was not looking forward to the failure of his Commando Mages since he personally fought against the God of Preservation by himself and it was not an easy fight. Much less so when the disciples do not have the same particular set of skills that Jin wielded.

Still, it would be a good gauge to see how strong his Commando Mages were and whether if they could eventually match up with his Mechanoids Squad that he had cultivated in another world.
