Major Zoller was gravely wounded, his radiant defenses shattered, while Hulu teetered on the brink of collapse. The dark elf forces, once formidable in both number and morale, had been reduced to a mere handful. The battle had reached its climax, and the outcome of Emery's carefully orchestrated plan was better than he could have hoped for. The time had come for Emery to take a direct role in the confrontation. He stepped onto the battlefield, and as he entered the major's battlefield domain, the atmosphere thickened, and the weight of cosmic energy pressed down on him.
Emery could feel the strain on his body. But Emery had come prepared. Drawing upon the power of Khaos, he summoned his strength and forcefully broke free from the pressure around him.
The fact that Emery could effortlessly shrug off the cosmic energy made it clear that Major Zoller had been greatly weakened. The poison had taken its toll, and the grand magus was no longer the overwhelming force he once was.
Emery's gaze locked onto Major Zoller, no spatial restrictions holding him back now; the air between them rippled with his will as he effortlessly manipulated the space.
Zoller's flying weapons swirling in the air like a deadly storm—shot toward Emery, but with a fluid movement, Emery bent the space around him, slipping between the projectiles. In a heartbeat, Emery closed the distance between them. The Void Blade in his hand hummed with khaos power, its edge sharp enough to cut through Zoller's golden aura, and sank into the major's flesh. SPLAT!
Blood splattered across the sand as the blade carved through.
Zoller staggered back, breath ragged, his body covered in wounds. His eyes flashed with anger and disbelief, his voice a strained hiss, "Bastard! You dare to fight your own kind!"
Emery smirked, his voice calm yet cutting, "My kind? You are not my kind."
The major snarled, and in retaliation, dozens of flying weapons surged toward Emery. But this time, Emery did not dodge. Instead, he pressed forward, his body a blur of motion as he unleashed his Three Axis Mountain Strike. With devastating force, the attack shattered the incoming weapons, and he landed another strike against Zoller.
SPLAT!"Urgghh!!" The grand magus cried out in frustration, "You are making a big mistake!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, a pair of massive golden wings erupted from Zoller's back, and he soared into the sky, escaping with the help of his flying weapons.
The battle had taken a turn, but Zoller wasn't out of the fight yet. In his wake, another magus was torn apart by his vicious assault but slowed Zoller's advance, enough to give Hulu the chance to intervene.
With a wave of his hand, Hulu conjured a massive, 30-meter-wide purple palm above Zoller's escape route. The palm dived down toward the grand magus with devastating force, blocking his flight path. Zoller retaliated, gathering all of his remaining flying weapons into a swirling vortex of blades. The collision was cataclysmic, sending out a shockwave that knocked both Hulu and Zoller back.
BAMMM!!
Hulu was thrown a dozen meters, while Zoller was pushed down into the sand, his flight halted for a moment.
This was the opening Emery had been waiting for. Without hesitation, he leaped into the fray, determined to end the fight once and for all. But just as he was about to strike, Zoller managed to dodge away, his desperation palpable.
He reached into his domain, pulling out a series of artifacts in quick succession. Among them were mechanical golems, a dozen of them, each as powerful as a full moon magus. These golems were formidable opponents in their own right, and they were enough to slow Emery down, giving Zoller precious time to activate another artifact.
Emery's sharp senses immediately recognized what Zoller was attempting. The artifact was a metal capsule, similar to the one Hassa Karat had used to save Tessa from danger. Realizing the danger of letting Zoller escape, Emery wasted no time. He launched a long-range spirit attack—[Spectral Gaze]—aiming to hinder Zoller's activation of the capsule. However, the attack only managed to delay the grand magus for a brief moment.
Determined to prevent the major's escape, Emery surged forward, pushing past the mechanical golems that swarmed to block his path. In a flash of light, he blinked himself directly into the capsule's vicinity, his claws slamming into its exterior just as it began to hum with energy, its boosters igniting for departure.
The mechanical golems lunged at him, relentless and unyielding, but Azula and Hulu leaped into action, intercepting the machines with a coordinated assault.
Meanwhile, the capsule glowed brighter, its frame trembling as its boosters roared to life. Emery gritted his teeth, his claws digging deeper into the metallic surface as he fought against its rising force. The realization burned in his mind: If Zoller escaped, he would be in big trouble.
"YOU ARE NOT LEAVING!!" Emery bellowed, his voice filled with raw fury.
Channeling every ounce of his strength, Khaos's energy surged to its peak, his body trembling as he awakened the primal beast within.

The muscles on his arms expanded, his claws grew longer, and a feral aura enveloped him as his beastly instincts took over. With a thunderous roar, Emery wrenched the capsule from the air with a roar, smashing it violently into the ground. He forced open the capsule door, and pulled Zoller from its confines, his fury overwhelming him as he tore the major apart.
SPLLATT!!!
The beast within him roared in triumph, a primal force taking over and blood spilled across the desert sands as the grand magus's body was torn in two.
Emery's rage simmered as he watched the Major's remains slowly regenerate, but Zoller's spirit had been broken. His mind, though still aware, was no longer capable of resisting the inevitable. "Wait... wait... don't kill me... I can help you... I can! Whatever you need!!" Zoller pleaded, his voice trembling with desperation.
Emery stood silent, the primal urge to tear his prey apart still burning in his chest.
Major Zoller, his upper body crawled forward through the sands using his arms, dragging himself until he was at Azula's feet. His voice was desperate as he pleaded, "Please… I have many valuable intel. I can help you… Just let me live."
The once-arrogant Major was now a pitiful shadow of himself, reduced to groveling and begging for his life.
Azula turned to Emery, her tone calm but insistent as she said, "We agreed. This one is mine."
