Chapter 1824 Peak Sovereign Elemental Warrior

The group worked quickly, using only about half an hour to ransack the first five rooms. Standing in the last room, not only did City Lord Vaughn have a frown on his face, even Grey's expression was serious as his gaze locked onto the body of Lord Harry. When they entered the sixth room, just like the other rooms they've pillaged, there was an item in this room. However, compared to the others, this room had only one item, it wasn't even placed on a table, rather, it was lying on the ground. The reason for their frown was because as soon as they entered the room, the item in the last room lit up and shot straight into Lord Harry's body before any of them could even see it.

The sudden change surprised everyone present. None of them got a good look at the item before it drilled into Lord Harry's body. They all tried to sense the presence of the item but have been unable to even get a glimpse of it again, including Lord Harry himself. Nevertheless, they all knew that whatever it was, it was residing inside Lord Harry's body.

"So what now?" One of the other two City Lords turned to City Lord Vaughn, since he was the leader of the group, it was only right he made a decision on how to deal with the unexpected turn of events.

City Lord Vaughn thought for a while, with no other choice, he brought out everything that had pillaged so far and told the others to each take an item from it. Although they didn't know how valuable whatever Lord Harry acquired was, the items they've gained so far were all top notch.

Grey was the first to make a move, grabbing an ordinary looking scroll. City Lord Vaughn took the fiery red bead they found in the first room. Of the two City Lords, one of them picked up a bracelet that contained a single all-out attack of a Ninth stage Sovereign. The other City Lord took a liquid that is said to be able to heal almost any injury. It was a liquid Grey had never seen before.

Seeing everyone happily take an item each, although Lord Harry's expression was unsightly, he could only sigh helplessly in frustration. The liquid taken by one of the invited City Lords was something he has had his eyes on since they found it. Never did he think he would experience such a thing that placed him at a disadvantage.

Grey had a blank expression on his face, but he was genuinely ecstatic. He has been thinking of ways to get space elemental techniques for a long time now, but due to how rare the space element is, it has been a futile effort. He didn't think he would obtain one on this trip.

City Lord Vaughn was about to open his mouth when his expression changed drastically as alarm bells rang in his heart.

"Run!"

The moment City Lord Vaughn's voice cried out, Grey's figure blurred. His senses were just as sharp as City Lord Vaughn, so he acted without hesitation. The other two City Lords reacted quickly thanks to City Lord Vaughn's timely warning. Both pushing their essence to the maximum, they formed a protective barrier before retreating.

Lord Harry was dragged along by City Lord Vaughn.

Boom! Bang!

The sound of explosions rang out in the building as the entire building was blasted into smithereens by the impact of the explosions.

City Lord Vaughn along with the others were all floating mid-air with fearful expressions.

The two foreign City Lords gave City Lord Vaughn a look of gratitude. If not for his timely reminder, they didn't think they would've been able to escape unscathed. Even if the explosion didn't kill them, it would've at least seriously wounded them.

City Lord Vaughn nodded in acknowledgement to their gratitude, before turning his shocked gaze to where Grey was standing. City Lord Vaughn had the highest cultivation level among the group and believed that his senses were naturally sharper, but from the reaction time of Grey, he noticed that the latter also sensed the danger the same time as himself, and acted accordingly.

The City Lord who was still thinking about how Grey reacted quickly noticed Grey staring in his direction with dread in his eyes.

"Run!"

Before this statement left Grey's mouth, his figure was long gone.

City Lord Vaughn felt a dreadful aura coming from behind him and knew that he was in trouble. Without hesitation, he pushed Lord Harry who was close to him away and turned around to meet whatever was coming head-on. He knew that he couldn't escape from it.

Bang!

City Lord Vaughn's protective barrier was broken through almost instantly, and a powerful wave of energy crashed into the City Lord's body, sending him crashing into the ground.

Lord Harry who was caught up by the impact of the attack coughed up a mouthful of blood and fear enveloped him. This isn't something he could fight against.

Boom!

Another explosion rang out from another part of the cave as Grey's figure was sent flying.

Bang!

Grey's figure slammed into the wall, creating a crater that was over ten meters deep.

The two invited City Lords looked in the direction Grey's body came flying from, and when their gazes landed on the figure standing there, they all sucked in a deep breath.

"A Peak Sovereign Elemental Warrior!" One of the City Lords screamed and fear.

Right before them, blocking the only path out of the cave, was a two meters tall fiery red figure that was none other than a Fire Elemental Warrior. What made everyone apprehensive however was the fact that they could sense the aura of a Peak stage Sovereign coming from this Elemental Warrior.

After stopping Grey's path, the Elemental Warrior didn't make another move, only blocking the path and turning its cold emotionless gaze to Lord Harry.

Sensing the eyes of the Elemental Warrior on him, Lord Harry started to sweat buckets. Even the City Lord could barely block a blow from this Elemental Warrior, he knew he wouldn't even survive if it tried to attack him.
