Chapter 1651 - 1651: Lunch Date [Part 1] (Magic Castle Bonus)Villain Ch 1651. Lunch Date [Part 1] (Magic Castle Bonus)
Vivian tapped her finger lightly against the corner of the page, scanning down the list. She could feel her pulse still dancing beneath her skin, her body warm from the lingering tension that hadn’t quite left since the car ride.
Mila, seated across from her, fidgeted slightly with the corner of the napkin draped across her lap. She bit the inside of her cheek, pretending to study the options while stealing small glances at Allen out of the corner of her eye.
“Anything catch your eye?” Allen asked casually, his voice smooth as silk as he glanced between them.
Vivian gave a small breathy laugh, forcing herself to focus. “The grilled salmon looks good. Something light.”
Mila chewed her lip, flipping a page. “I think I’ll go with the roasted chicken. The one with lemon and—” she glanced back at the menu, “—seasonal vegetables.”
“Balanced. You’ve both made your nutritionists proud,” Allen replied with an amused tone, half joking.
Vivian chuckled softly. “Well, I figured I should eat something that won’t make me regret it later when I’m back on camera.”
Mila nodded quickly. “Same. And honestly, I don’t think I could eat anything too heavy after—” she paused, catching herself, her cheeks flushing again. “—after today.”
Allen’s smirk deepened ever so slightly but didn’t comment further, letting her squirm just enough.
The server waited patiently beside them, pen poised. “And your drinks, ladies?”
“I’ll just have iced water with lemon,” Vivian said, her voice steady but light.
“Same for me,” Mila echoed, her fingers still lightly tracing the edge of her menu.
The server jotted it down before turning to Allen.
He closed his own menu without hesitation, folding it neatly and handing it back. “Grilled seabass for me,” he said, his tone calm, “and a pot of green tea.”
“Excellent,” the server smiled professionally, collecting the menus. “Your orders will be right out.”
The server disappeared, leaving the three of them alone in the softly lit private room. The faint hum of elegant music floated in the background—just low enough to make the silence between them feel intimate rather than empty.
Allen leaned back slightly, folding one arm along the chair’s side, his fingers idly toying with the ring on his hand. His eyes stayed relaxed, but sharp, effortlessly pulling both women deeper into his presence without even trying.
And then, casually—like they were having the most ordinary conversation in the world—he spoke again.
“So.” His voice was lower now. “What are your plans after this?”
Both girls glanced at him at the same time, but Vivian spoke first. “Besides getting back online? Agency paperwork and some messages.”
Mila nodded. “Yeah. Same. Messages. Updates.” She added with a small laugh, “Trying not to obsess over today, basically.”
Allen’s eyes flickered toward her for a moment, the corner of his mouth tugging into a faint smirk. “Obsess?”
Mila immediately flushed. “I-I mean the photoshoot. Just… how intense it was.”
Vivian glanced at Mila, trying to suppress her own laugh. She understood exactly what Mila meant—because it was the same thing she herself felt.
Allen’s voice lowered, silky. “Intense?”
Vivian exhaled. “You know exactly what she means.”
His smirk deepened. “I do.”
And again, that strange pulse filled the room. Heavy, warm, intimate.
The air shifted as they stared at one another. Neither Mila nor Vivian had eaten yet, but both of them already felt full from nothing but his attention.
Vivian tried to break the silence first, to cool the heat rising in her chest. “I… I think that was the most unusual shoot I’ve ever done.”
Mila let out a nervous laugh. “That’s one way to say it.”
Allen leaned forward slightly, his gaze sliding between them like a predator that enjoyed watching his prey squirm. “But you both enjoyed it.”
Neither answered at first.
But their faces said everything.
Vivian’s throat tightened.
Mila’s heart pounded again.
They both stared at him—Allen, sitting there with that lazy, calm smile like this was still casual conversation.
But it wasn’t casual. Not even close.
The weight of his words from earlier still hung in the air, thick and charged.
And now, without missing a beat, Allen leaned in just slightly, voice dropping into that deep, rich tone that always seemed to crawl straight into their skin.
“Don’t worry,” he said softly. “I enjoyed it too.”
Vivian blinked, chest tightening as her pulse spiked instantly.
Mila froze, gripping the edge of the table like she needed something to hold onto.
Allen’s eyes swept slowly between both of them, reading them, feeling the tension pulse like waves.
“I could feel your body heat,” he continued, voice barely above a whisper but somehow louder than anything else in the room. “Every little shift. Every breath.”
His smile deepened, darker now, intimate.
“And I bet,” he said, pausing deliberately, “you could feel mine too.”
Both girls inhaled sharply.
Then Allen’s voice dipped even lower, velvet smooth, his words curling around them like silk wrapping tighter.
“And I love it…” he whispered. “Every single second of it.”
Vivian’s face burned, her skin prickling as the heat rushed up her neck, cheeks flushing. She couldn’t even look him in the eyes for a moment. It was too much. Too raw. The way he spoke, so plainly, like pulling back every unspoken layer they’d been tiptoeing around all day.
Mila felt her stomach twist, her legs pressing together instinctively under the table.
‘God.’
He wasn’t even hiding it anymore.
She opened her mouth, but no words came. She couldn’t tell if she wanted to run or lean closer. Maybe both.
The worst part?
He was right.
They had felt it. Every bit of him. And now that he was saying it out loud, neither of them could pretend otherwise.
The silence that followed wasn’t empty. It was heavy—soaked in tension, like the air itself had turned into some invisible string tying the three of them tighter, closer, with every unspoken thought that filled their heads.
And Allen just sat there, perfectly calm, perfectly composed.
Waiting.
Watching.
Savoring.
