THE LAST PARAGON IN THE APOCALYPSE

Chapter 668 - 668: Arrival of the Moon Borns (2)

“So, Klaus, what are your thoughts on the sudden discovery that there were people on the moon all this years and that now, they are the allies we will be welcoming into our world?” KKKickinIt asked.

They were now inside the jet, speeding toward the Northern Union, where the previous Union City had been rebuilt into a nice, ultra-modern city now named Moonville.

“First of all, I have to say that it’s very scary that for years, we’ve been living with people right up on our moon. I mean, when the moon illuminates the night and we all smile, do they also smile back at us?

The fact that we had no idea there were people right up there was very dangerous. Now, however, they are becoming our allies. They will become our brothers and sisters in arms.

So I say that is a good thing.

Of course, I know many still have so many questions, some of which revolve around the question of whether they can be trusted.

The answer is simple: the Earth is for all of us, but right now, the same Earth is housing monsters that outnumbered us in the millions.

They are both dangerous and unpredictable.

So this calls for us to have more warriors, and luckily, from what I know and have heard, the moonborns have capable warriors. So, asking whether or not we can trust them, the answer is yes, we can.

The reason is that they are now part of the same world we are all fighting to protect. So, since they are now with us, we can only trust them and believe they will not betray our trust.

But as to whether or not this is a good alliance, that one, too, I believe it’s a yes.

This is a good alliance, and I believe through this, when the next race appears from either the planets in our solar system or those beneath the earth, we can coexist and fight together to protect this world.”

“That is impactful. Thank you, Klaus,” KKKickinIt said before returning to the camera.

“As you all heard, not only does our own Klaus think this alliance is a good thing, but he also believes that if more people were to pop up tomorrow, they would be accepted into the Earth alliance.

I say that is a big move for all of us to accept. Having more to fight and protect the weak is always the priority here.

Then again, I will wait for our neighbours to appear before coming back with more updates. For now, let’s wait and see what happens next.”

She turned off her camera, which is controlled by AI. Technology has made it so that only one person can open and manage a business as if dozens are working under them.

Two hours later, they arrived at Union City, where over a dozen warriors could be seen waiting for the arrival of the overlords.

Miriam was part of them, meaning this group included the war gods and goddesses of every region in all unions on Earth.

“We greet the overlords,” they said as the overlords descended from the jet. KKKickinIt and Klaus had already jumped out of the jet long before the overlords appeared.

Kathy and Old Lu remained until after the overlords were greeted before they also came down. Hundreds of media houses were there, capturing everything they could.

This was a rare event, so they were there to document it all.

Arrangements had already been made, so they didn’t need to do much and simply chose to wait. Thirty minutes later, a humming sound came from the clouds. Experience more content on My Virtual Library Empire

A second later, a giant spaceship—or at least that’s what it looked like—appeared through the clouds and slowly came to a stop a few meters after emerging.

Across the Earth, everyone watching held a shocked expression at the sight that had appeared on the horizon. Even the war gods and goddesses present were visibly stunned.

Their neighbours had arrived in a spaceship.

That was just bonkers.

Earth had been trying to build spaceships like that for years already. They wanted something capable of travelling to nearby planets.

Before the apocalypse, humans never dreamed of exploring those planets. They only studied them and managed to send some drones.

However, now, knowing they could breathe in space or even survive extreme temperatures, they had started planning to visit them.

However, their efforts to build ships that could take them there were not going as anticipated.

However, now, stopping just below the clouds, was a ship that, from the look of things, was housing close to ten thousand people.

Yet their shock didn’t end there. After the first ship appeared, dozens more began to emerge, filling the sky. Soon, the entire airspace of Moonville was filled with spaceships of different designs.

“Let’s go,” Queenie said, and the Ascendents, along with Klaus and Old Lu, flew up with him. The war gods and goddesses followed but maintained a distance.

When they were 300 meters from the first ship, they stopped. Then, the door of the ship opened, and 16 people appeared simultaneously.

Two veiled ladies stood in the middle, and from the energy radiating from them, one could tell they were forces to be reckoned with.

All over the world, people began wondering who the two ladies were, but it didn’t take long for their questions to be answered.

“On behalf of the Earth Alliance, I welcome you all to Earth. May this alliance between us see a good and prosperous future,” Queenie said, her expression softening.

The two ladies behind the veil turned and looked at each other before a giggle escaped their lips.

“Look at you, kiddo, all grown up and now leader of the Earth Alliance,” Queen Lunara said before taking off her veil, shocking everyone.

“Good to see you again, baby sister,” Ohema added, also removing her veil to reveal her beautiful face, which mirrored that of Queenie.

In a span of three seconds, three faces that looked exactly the same, although with different eye colours, appeared, and everyone flipped.

This simple exchange sparked countless questions, even among the Overlords, who were eager to ask. The faces staring back at them were identical to that of their leader.

Just what the hell is going on?

They wanted to find out; however, before anyone could ask a question, a figure descended from the same ship, exuding the aura of a warrior.

He had two swords strapped behind him and a look of focus and determination in his eyes. One didn’t need a genius to tell that the transcendent who had appeared was a terrifying opponent.

He hovered in the air, looked directly at Klaus, and pointed forward.

“Are you the one called Klaus?” he asked in a voice that did not inspire peace.

“The one and only. Who is asking?”

“You don’t have the qualification to know my name,” the young man said coldly, then pulled out his sword.

“I challenge you to combat to the death. Do you dare accept?”
