Chapter 1130 Eztein and Torkez

Souta glanced at Geyvin.

Geyvin shook his head. "I have no idea who leaked the information. We can discuss this inside."

Souta didn't reply immediately. He thought for a moment before nodding. "Then let's go."

He could tell that this old man, Geyvin, wasn't lying. If that was the case, then he could talk with him.

Souta and Geyvin headed inside the mansion, followed by the other highest-ranking officials of the council on this planet.

They sat around a huge round table, and silence filled the air. No one uttered a single sound.

All of them were the highest and most powerful officials on the planet, yet none dared to take the monster before them lightly. They knew exactly what he was capable of, and it wouldn't be wise to fight him blindly. Besides, there was a chance this monster really was from Olympus.

Souta surveyed them one by one before breaking the silence. "Now, I want each of you to tell me you had no idea about the information leak."

"I've already said it before. I have no idea about it. This is my first time hearing of it," Geyvin replied.

A blue-haired man named Resin spoke next. "Same here. It's my first time hearing about it."

Souta nodded. He could see they weren't lying. Then he turned to the man with long black hair tied in a ponytail.

The man said, "I also don't have any idea."

In the next instant, a palm slammed into his face. Souta grabbed him and hurled him against the wall.

Boom!!

Geyvin, Resin, and the others turned their heads in shock. Before they could speak, they heard Souta's voice.

"Don't lie to me. I have an ability that lets me tell if someone is lying or not. Besides, you're not powerful enough to bypass it."

Souta began to float, staring at the man with long black hair. His energy surged and fluctuated wildly, causing the area to vibrate.

Geyvin and the others now understood why Souta had simply asked them questions. It turned out he had an ability perfect for extracting the truth.

"Tell me why," Souta demanded.

The man with long black hair stood up and wiped the streak of blood from the corner of his mouth.

"I don't know... It's me, but at the same time it's not," he said.

Souta furrowed his brow. He could tell the man wasn't lying. "What do you mean?"

"It felt like someone was controlling me. It was like a dream," the man answered.

'Someone is targeting me,' Souta thought.

'Probably someone from the council. As you said before, it's not united, and there are a lot of factions within it. Maybe they wanted you to destroy a rival group,' Saya's voice echoed in his mind.

Souta glanced around. Suddenly, he felt something in his pocket.

He took out the transmission talisman and poured his energy into it.

Moments later, a vast killing intent surged from him. His energy flared uncontrollably, pushing all the objects around him away. Blood-colored lightning crackled across his body as sharp webs of energy shot out in every direction.

Bang!!

Geyvin and the others frowned, feeling the suffocating killing intent.

"What's the meaning of this?" Geyvin demanded.

Souta ignored him and turned to the man with long black hair. "I want you dead."

His voice dripped with killing intent.

The man felt suffocated under the weight of Souta's murderous aura. He instinctively took a step back, his own energy flaring in response.

"Kessa," Souta said, as a hydra-shaped tattoo on his shoulder began to glow.

In the next moment, a gigantic, fearsome Nine-Headed Hydra materialized behind him. The entire mansion collapsed instantly under the pressure radiating from the fifth-stage monster.

ROAR!!!

Kessa let out a furious roar, resonating with her master's killing intent.

Geyvin reacted quickly, shielding the others from the collapsing debris and surging energy.

"This is bad! A fifth-stage monster!"

He retreated with the others as the mansion crumbled around them. As a Seventh Shackle expert, he knew exactly what a fifth-stage creature was capable of.

"Sir!" Resin called out.

Geyvin waved a hand to silence him and looked down grimly. "This planet already has low mana density... It's not even on par with a mid-level world. The damage a fifth-stage can do here is catastrophic."

Boom!!

The fearsome pressure of the fifth-stage monster shook not just the area but the entire planet itself.

The ocean writhed in fury, waves towering like mountains and crashing onto the coasts with deafening force. Volcanoes across the continent began to erupt one after another as the ground split apart.

It was like a natural disaster.

At the center of the chaos, a massive Nine-Headed Hydra roared in fury.

Souta stood beneath Kessa.

'Souta! Calm down! Souta!' Saya's voice echoed in his mind.

"I know. I'm calm. I just need to get out of here. Something's happened, and it's not good," Souta replied.

...

On a planet ruled by the Astros Empire...

Eztein and Torkez stood on desolate ground littered with destroyed ships and corpses.

A battlefield.

"It's done," Eztein said.

"Yeah. Judging from the information, most of the enemy forces are on Alice's side. That army should be the strongest," Torkez replied.

"Hmm... The old man would probably love to go there." Eztein shrugged.

Ohm!!

Eztein and Torkez turned their heads and saw a brilliant light in the sky.

The light flashed, then crashed to the ground, triggering a massive explosion.

Boom!!

A towering mushroom cloud rose as a powerful shockwave swept out in every direction.

"This...?" Eztein frowned.

A massive crater several kilometers wide was left at the impact site.

Eztein and Torkez immediately raised a barrier to protect the Astros soldiers from the shockwave's destructive force.

Eztein took a step forward, gathering energy in his fist. Then he threw a powerful punch into the air.

"Reveal yourselves."

The force behind his strike shook the air, instantly dispersing the clouds and smoke.

As the haze cleared, he saw a group of people clad in dark blue armor.

These weren't allies.

"Reinforcements from the council..." Eztein muttered.

"Judging from their energy levels, they're strong..." Torkez said.

"Yeah, but not stronger than me," Eztein replied.

Still, he knew this would be a tough battle. His confidence came from all the experience and techniques he'd learned in the Imperium—things the council's people couldn't hope to match.

The leader of the enemy group rose into the air and stared at Eztein.

"A Fifth Rank... To think there's a Fifth Rank in this puny civilization."

"Oh?" Eztein raised an eyebrow at the man's words.

"Remember that I, Jethru, am the one who will conquer this planet!" the man declared. His voice reverberated across the land.

"Torkez, get ready. These people are our enemies," Eztein said, gripping the dark spear tightly in his hand.

[Hell Fiend Spear], a Dark-Grade weapon.

"Men, don't hold back! Defeat their warriors and conquer their land!" Jethru shouted, raising his hand as his energy surged outward.

Boom!!

Eztein hovered in the air, completely unbothered by the surge of energy. Torkez, on the other hand, was instantly wrapped in strings of flesh. He wasn't as strong as Eztein, and he could feel the intense pressure radiating from Jethru.

Swoosh!!

Eztein took a step forward and unleashed his own energy.

Bang!!

The air vibrated as their energies collided fiercely. Dark and blue auras twisted and crackled, sending sparks flying everywhere.

The Astros soldiers began to retreat. The energy levels of Eztein and Jethru were off the charts—far beyond anything they could hope to handle. This level of power was dozens of times greater than their own.

They were shocked and horrified by the clash of energy alone.

The atmosphere felt like it was boiling, violent sparks flashing constantly. The ground trembled uncontrollably as massive cracks snaked for several kilometers. Dark clouds gathered overhead, lightning tearing across the sky and roaring with each flash like a thousand tormented souls.

"Do you think you can stop me?" Jethru sneered before his body blurred forward.

Eztein glanced at the enemy group before raising his spear. A sword met it in a ringing clash, sending sparks flying.

"Oh?" Jethru raised an eyebrow. Then he laughed and pressed harder with his sword.

"I will not hold back. Torkez, do what you have to do."

As soon as Eztein finished speaking, a powerful wave of energy surged from within his body.

[Triple Element Drive: Earth, Lightning, and Fire Integration]!!

The earth trembled as massive pillars of rock rose into the air. Countless arcs of lightning spread out like a spider web while a sea of flames formed around him.

"I was just part of a small group before, so I never encountered any high-level officials from the council. Well, look at me now—stronger than any of you."

Eztein grinned as the three elements swirled around him. He raised his spear, and a lightning arc burst forth.

Boom!!
