Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer
Chapter 1011: Reaver Guild’s MovementChapter 1011: Reaver Guild’s Movement
Xu Feng closed his palm and canceled the energy force circulation.
"See, the home invasion incident simply alleviated my condition. But then the body needs to adapt to the new improved version." He turned to her and explained softly.
Nodding, Allison no longer held any doubts.
"I see... the timing of your improvement is quite unlucky." She commented.
Toward that statement, Xu Feng could only flash a bittersweet smile. Indeed, the timing couldn’t be anymore unfortunate for him.
Nevertheless, he wouldn’t regret or cry about the incident. One missed event wasn’t a big deal.
"Anyway, I’ll be headed home first. Vera here can drive you somewhere else once I get off." Xu Feng said. His current body truly required resting, especially after that showcase of using his energy force.
"Just sleep for now." Allison calmly said. "We’ll talk later."
Nodding, Xu Feng remained quiet and kept his eyes closed. Soon, he fell asleep unknowingly.
The transformation was completed, and instead of consolidating much, he rushed to spectate the competition.
Now the backlash was hitting him hard in the resting area.
He was sleeping, but the energy force within his body was starting to adapt and incorporate them.
Time went by, and before long, Xu Feng overheard a voice speaking to him.
"Wake up, Feng. We’ve arrived at your home."
"Un," Xu Feng grumbled slightly. As he tried to wake up, he found himself lying on something comfortable and warm.
’When did I bring a soft cushion for the car?’ He was confused by the comforts. It made him somewhat drowsy again as he wanted to lean on it longer and bury his head deep.
"Are you going to wake up or continue to play scoundrel?" Allison’s voice resounded again.
"Scoundrel?" Confused, Xu Feng slowly opened one of his eyes. He glanced at her and asked, "How is sleeping considered a scoundrel?"
"Sleeping isn’t, but the fact that you lean on my shoulder and now my chest. If that’s not the behavior of a scoundrel, then what is it?" She responded.
"Huh?"
Xu Feng’s body jolted awake as he got up and realized what was happening.
"No wonder it was so soft and comfortable." He commented, completely unfazed that he had leaned his head on her bountiful chest.
"..." Allison was rendered speechless by his commentary. It was a good thing that she wasn’t like some other women who might scream or smack his face.
She knew it wasn’t intentional, so she didn’t plan on calling him a pervert either. Instead, she was more concerned about his current health.
"Are you feeling a bit better or do you need to eat some food?" She asked softly.
"A little bit of both." He answered after some pondering. He had incorporated quite a few of the energy force, which caused his stomach to be somewhat empty.
"Let me order some food for us then." He felt bad letting her leave now that they had returned home and was about to order some on his phone.
However, his phone was quickly snatched away, followed by an angry voice.
"You’re like this and you still want to order some food? Don’t you know how much MSG the restaurants put in their food to make it tasty and unhealthy?"
"You’re angry at that?" Xu Feng twitched his mouth in disbelief. She wasn’t angry at him for taking advantage of her but was angry because he wanted to order some food that contained the delicious white powder known as MSG.
"Shut up." She hissed and rolled her eyes. "Where’s your apartment number at? I’ll cook some food for you to eat. Consider it an apology for bringing the Divine World topic up when you’re not in a good condition."
Sometime later, the two exited out of the car and Xu Feng brought her over to his apartment.
As they entered, Allison was surprised by the neatness of the living room.
"Hmm, I thought it would have been a mess, but it seems like you kept it clean." She commented, seemingly giving her approval of his lifestyle.
"Anyway, where’s your room?"
"The kitchen area is here." Ignoring her question, Xu Feng walked toward the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. "I have some grocery items here too for you to cook something."
"Hmm," Allison knitted her brows. She found his action highly suspicious. Without hesitation, she quickly turned around and darted toward the inner section. Her eyes beamed when she realized the room was marked with names.
"Crap!" Realizing what she was intending to do, Xu Feng tried to catch her.
Alas, it was a little bit too late.
As Allison opened Xu Feng’s room, she was quickly greeted with a messy interior through and through. Normally, opening someone’s room on their first visit was a rude gesture. But Allison felt it was extremely worth it to be rude once.
"I knew it." She exclaimed loudly and turned to him.
Xu Feng could only cover his face with his hand. "I have no excuse. The only flaw I have is that I was late and in a rush to meet up with Kai so I had to grab whatever clothes were good."
You call that not an excuse?
Allison nearly rolled her eyes at his explanation.
"Alright, are you here to cook me food or here to judge my messiness?" Xu Feng asked.
Hearing that, Allison chuckled a bit before returning to the kitchen and checking on the available ingredients.
Meanwhile, Xu Feng took one last look at his messy room and shook his head.
’I’ll clean it later.’ He thought to himself and went to the living room couch.
Just as he was about to open the television to watch some drama, his smartwatch suddenly made a beeping sound.
Instantly, his expression darkened. The beeping sound alert on the smartwatch would only happen if there was a major crisis in the Divine World that required his presence.
’I can’t even take a breather and relax huh?’ Annoyed and frustrated, he opened the messages on his smartwatch.
