Description: An incredibly rare rune that exhibits powers of time that is said to accelerate and transform the time of any item. It is said that this rune is made from the tears of the deceased Time Gods which creates an anomaly and upgrades an item directly to the tier of this rune.

“Amazing!” Adrian gasped as he did not expect that he would be able to get something as good as this.

The Rune of Ascension also has intricate patterns that made Adrian study it for two hours. His inner Scribe suddenly kicked in and made him fall into a state of pure concentration to understand the rune. It is said that this talisman gathers mana from the surroundings in order to create refined and pure energy. It is said that this talisman is able to unleash the full potential of an item when it gets upgraded to a 9-star rating.

“I made about thirty without even breaking a sweat, but the problem is that these use Legendary Monster Core ink powder to create. It is ridiculously expensive to make. I guess Piggy Bank could sell some for me so that I can at least get back the cost of materials.” Adrian stated as he mailed the item to Piggy Bank and that was the start of a bloody auction in the future.

Adrian used most of the ones he created to upgrade his items to a nine-star rating. He did not expect that he got good luck in upgrading as he only failed once for his weapon, armor, and cape. His items now glowed in this cool aura, but each are quite different. For his weapon, the astrolabe or rather Paradox has gained this deep purple mist with small stars forming outside of it.

Adrian’s armor exuded a darker aura when he is in his Netheros form as if it released nether energy. In his Aetheros form, the armor released aether dust around him which made him look more heroic. This was the pure cosmetic side of the enhancements, but his weapons and armor bumped up in terms of stats and power.

“The effects are cool and all, but it seems that Paradox did not get that special upgrade when items reach nine stars in enhancement. Do you have any idea why, Paradox?” Adrian asked his weapon that floated around him, but he noticed that Paradox was not replying as if it was asleep.

[Paradox is currently in a state of upgrading itself. It has sent a message to the master to not disturb it for the moment.]

“Wow! Such a feisty weapon, who is your owner?!” Adrian jokingly stated but he did not bother Paradox after receiving the message as he knows that the latter will never fail him.

“The armor did not get any upgraded skill as well but there is a text that said I need to upgrade it to Mythical Tier to unlock it. I guess I need to visit the old demigod blacksmith in the north. I already have the materials needed to upgrade it, but a blacksmith of that caliber is not yet available. What should I give as a bribe… I mean a present to the old man?” Adrian stated as he looked at the Rune of Ascension.

Description: A mysterious cloak that is said to have been worn by one of the forgotten gods. It is currently degraded and sealed which made its tier go down to Legendary Tier. Special items are needed to increase its tier and restore it to the Cloak of Ruin back to its original appearance.

Adrian then pieced together the description given on the Cloak of Ruin. He usually did not bother upgrading the cloak as it already gave good stat boost. He also got another skill unlocked when it got upgraded to nine stars in rating which meant that was one of the hidden conditions. This time, the Rune of Ascension looked like it was the perfect thing to increase the rank of the cloak as it was basically a short cut to increase its tier to Mythical.

The notification popped up which meant that it was possible to do it. Adrian gulped as he actually wanted to save the Rune of Ascension if he got something good, but this is a direct buff to him. He had the Cloak of Ruin for such a long time, yet he never found the materials to upgrade it. This might be only time that he will be able to upgrade it with an item.

“Maybe… this thing was given to me because I have the Cloak of Ruin? The Random Mythical Box did say that I will get an item that I need. This means that I really needed this for this.” Adrian muttered as he was hyping himself up so that he does not have any regrets if his interpretation was wrong.
