Omega Summoner

Chapter 2491 - 2491: Peculiar Individuals

The people trapped in the chrysalises emerged one by one as that was their order when they entered the gate created by Adrian. As soon as they enter the gate, the soul that is trapped in Limbo will be sent directly to the mortal realm instead of entering the death realms. The coins represented the energy of death that had accumulated when they died and is the payment or rather the substitute for their souls.

The energy collected from the dead warriors were enough to pacify the gods of death. They would have stormed in again when the Fates left but certain High Gods of Death had a talk with the ones that invaded Limbo. Suffice to say, the gods of death that went to Limbo were reprimanded as they should never go to that dimension as it will affect the judgement and stability of the souls.

The sudden revival of the dead was nothing short of a miracle as those that mourned for their dead comrades have turned sadness into joy. There were still some tears involved but they were now tears of joy. The atmosphere that would have been gloomy despite winning has turned into a lighthearted festivity. All of the beings prayed to the Gods of Life and Death to thank them for their generosity.

“I mean, they should be thanking you when you were the one that did all the sacrifice.” Levin Cloud stated as it was Adrian that lost a level and lots of experience points. He also got a penalty of not getting experience points for defeating the Primordial Beast of Sloth. He just worked hard to save the world without anything in return.

“It is not that I got nothing. I got a skill that I think is good.” Adrian replied as he looked at the peculiar skill he got.

Adrian managed to get a skill because of Dodu as it was apparently devouring the Primordial Beast of Sloth while they wrapped around it. The chance was extremely small, but it seems that Dodu was lucky beyond compare. Adrian thought that it might have resonated with his other Seven Deadly Sin exclusive skills which is why the chance to get it was higher.

“I know skills fuse when they are of the same type. Well, I will not get a chance to fuse all seven of them because nothing is left from the Primordial Beast of Envy.” Adrian thought as he got summoned by the Daemos Elders.

All of the players and even NPCs rejoiced near the blooming Tree of Life as they actually created a small ceremony in that specific area. The food came from the supply unit which are the Daemos as they stored lost of food and medicine in the subspace. All of the higher-ranking leaders did not stop the people from celebrating as there are some that literally came back from the dead.

“It seems that a party has started when I was fixing the connection of the gates. You should have told me if you would die, brat. The load that I needed to shoulder suddenly increased as your death cut off the connection.” Elder Ascalor stated.

“I actually cut if off early or else all of you would have faced some backlash as we were all connected. It is not a pleasant feeling to be fully immersed in negative energy before dying. I would not even wish that on my greatest enemies.” Adrian replied which made the other three shiver.

“Anyways, we all did well and none died because of the youngest’ sacrifice. I think that you should not call him brat anymore as he already matured.” Elder Bronx stated.

“He is still a brat in my eyes.” Elder Ascalor replied.

“You did not call us just because you want to check on Equinox. Why did you truly call for us?” Elder Koronn interjected.

“I found the source of why the gates suddenly fluctuated.” Elder Ascalor stated as he pulled up a weird looking rock that is unfamiliar with Adrian.

“What is that?” Adrian asked.

“What is a spacitite doing here?! These things are not of this world!” Elder Bronx and Elder Koronn exclaimed in shock.

“What is a spacitite?” Adrian asked.

“It is a special type of mineral from the Void. It is a rock that makes space itself unstable. Just by itself will not have any effect but it becomes supercharged when spatial magic touches it.” Elder Ascalor stated as he did a demonstration.

The pearl-colored rock looked like an ordinary beautiful rock but it suddenly vibrated when Elder Ascalor poured Spatial Energy into it. The spacitite absorbed the spatial energy and then created its own weak dimensional vibrations that slowly cancelled out the spatial magic casted by Elder Ascalor. Upon seeing this interaction, Adrian became incredibly curious but also wary as that thing could not have entered the portal without any problem.

“Are you saying that there is a traitor in our midst?” Adrian asked.

“No, this thing came from another side where there were still residual traces of a portal. It was slipped in from that side which made the gates unstable. Also, we checked all of the demon eyes that we set up in the area and found these.” Elder Ascalor stated as he gave Adrian a projection orb.

Adrian then used the projection orb to see what was inside of it. The holographic video that came out of the projection orb showed two different groups that took something from the Primordial Beast of Sloth and the Primordial Beast of Envy. What they took was a bit blurry, but Adrian could somewhat make out what they took away.

“It seems like they took some parts of the primordial beasts. Wait! Pause!” Adrian suddenly exclaimed as he saw a familiar figure for a moment.

The familiar figure that Adrian noticed was none other than the God Loki. The players that gave the parts of the primordial beasts to the God Loki were given a token in return. After they were given the token, those players suddenly vanished from the area as if they were whisked away. The God Loki did not seem to notice that the scene was captured but Adrian saw two of him in different areas.

“Why would they give parts of the primordial beasts to the God Loki?” Adrian asked loudly and the three Daemos Elders suddenly became wary.

“Did you say, Loki?!” Elder Ascalor exclaimed and the other two looked at Adrian to wait for his reply.

“At least I think it is him, but I am not sure as the projection captured is not clear, but that silhouette is none other than that God Loki. I would not mistake a god that almost killed me.” Adrian replied.

“What he wants to do of the parts of the primordial beast is another thing but him being here in the mortal realm is not a good sign. We need to tell the old man.” Elder Koronn stated with a serious tone.

“If anyone can block access to that trickster then that would be the old man.” Elder Bronx agreed as they suddenly wanted to visit Old Man Pann.

“Can you fill me in?” Adrian asked.

“We will fill you in once everything here is finished. The short version is that Trickster God is not a being that you want freely roaming the mortal realm. As you can see, he can split himself into multiple clones but that is just the tip of what he can do. He can twist causality because he has the blood of the Jotunn in his veins. He is also the reason why most of them are sealed away.” Elder Ascalor stated which shocked Adrian due to the huge lore drop.

“Find us as we would need to talk to Old Man Pann first. You focus on killing the remaining two primordial beasts that needs to be killed.

[The Primordial Beast of Wrath has been slain, and it entered eternal rest.]

[The Primordial Beast of Lust has been slain, and it entered eternal rest.]

Notifications of the deaths of the two primordial beasts suddenly appeared in the screens of all the players. The remaining two that they were supposed to kill are already dealt with. The players that were watching the fights via stream as some were streaming their fights suddenly had the forums explode. All of the players wanted to know on who killed the other two when no one arranged armies to fight them.
