Chapter 6034 Concede or Fight
With this invitation, Long Chen and the palace master walked shoulder to shoulder into the depths of the Heaven Dragon Law Domain. No one dared to block their way again.
“Palace master, what kind of existence was that?” Long Chen whispered, asking about the person who spoke.
Just his voice alone could shatter the palace master’s powerful lock. He was a truly powerful existence.
“At the very least, a third Heavenstage Sovereign Lord,” the palace master replied, his expression turning solemn. “Only someone on that level could manipulate spatial power so effortlessly. And to compress Sovereign qi into their voice like that… it’s not something ordinary Sovereign Lords can do.”
After a brief pause, he added, “Even once you become a Human Emperor, you’ll need to be cautious around such beings. The third Heavenstage is a dividing line. The gap between second and third Heavenstage Sovereign Lords is even greater than that between an ordinary Sovereign Lord and a true Sovereign Lord. At that realm, they start to grasp the laws of space. And laws… are a realm far too profound to describe with words.”
The palace master couldn’t help but sigh when he spoke about laws. He had barely touched upon that realm himself, but true control remained out of his reach.
With their blessed bodies and innate affinity for power, the dragon race had a significant advantage in controlling powerful natural forces. But when it came to comprehension—true understanding of the laws—they couldn’t even compare.
Such enlightenment couldn’t be taught or forced. Sometimes, it came like a bolt of lightning, and other times, it evaded even ten thousand years of meditation.
Long Chen nodded solemnly, engraving the warning into his heart. Caution was what kept people alive. Being careful was never a mistake.
“If my guess is right,” the palace master continued, “once we’re inside the palace, they’ll put on a show of force. Be ready. It will determine whether we speak to them sitting, standing, or kneeling.”
Long Chen nodded. The palace master had put it perfectly. Compared to the human race, the dragon race’s way of expressing themselves was far more simple and explosive.
Still, Long Chen wasn’t someone with small guts. With the palace master supporting him, and the mysterious sweeping elder backing the palace master, what did Long Chen have to fear?
The palace master reminded, “I know you just came back from the violet blood race. You’ve definitely learned the violet blood race’s divine abilities. But if you want the dragon race’s respect, don’t use techniques from other races.”
Although Long Chen had known about this aspect and had been using his dragon blood power from the start, the palace master still brought it up. This was an important point.
Long Chen nodded. When it came to utilizing the dragon race’s divine abilities, he feared no one.
Even if the Heaven Dragon Law Domain was truly a nest of hidden dragons with endless divine abilities and powerful heavenly geniuses, Long Chen wasn’t worried.
After crossing countless mountains, the two finally arrived at a vast sunken basin. What lay before them left even Long Chen stunned, despite his preparation.
Tens of thousands of Ten Thousand Dragon Nests filled the area, each radiating Sovereign qi. These weren’t ordinary nests—they were on the level of Sovereign Lords. For reference, the Nine Peak Dragon Domain only had nine of these.
Yet here, there were thousands.
A path led through the nests, and as they walked, dragon experts stood atop each nest, watching them with cold eyes.
Some of these dragon experts were young, others old. Some showed curiosity in their eyes. But most… contempt.
It was clear that outsiders hadn’t set foot in the Heaven Dragon Law Domain for a long time. These were the stares of those evaluating intruders.
“A Human?!” shouted someone.
When they recognized Long Chen as a human, many of their expressions darkened.
“The contemptible human race has no right to step into our sacred Dragon Domain! Scram!”
Long Chen locked eyes with the one who spoke—a Heaven Saint disciple. Without a word, Long Chen took out a six-meter-long spear.
“You dare to take out your weapon?! Courting death!” that disciple shouted again.
Long Chen’s action only enraged him more.
However, Long Chen showed no intention of attacking. Instead, he fastened a rod horizontally to the spear’s head, forming a cross.
Everyone stared in confusion—even the palace master had no idea what he was doing.
Then, Long Chen took out a brush, ribbons, and golden ink. With bold strokes, he wrote on the ribbons and tied them to the spear.
From the distance, it looked like a soul-summoning banner.
At the top:
“Amongst Heaven Saints, none beneath the heavens can rival me.”
At the bottom:
“Within the Dragon Domain, I am the number one hero.”
Connecting them:
“Concede or fight!”
These words weren’t written in Jiuli characters, but in the dragon race’s script. There wasn’t a soul in the Dragon Domain who couldn’t read them.
Seeing Long Chen strut around with that banner, the nearby experts seethed with fury. Even the palace master couldn’t help but smile—he had never seen anyone quite as arrogant as Long Chen. This was a direct challenge to the entire Heaven Dragon Law Domain’s junior generation.
As expected, the dragon race’s heavenly geniuses refused to accept it. A human with dragon blood dared challenge them in their own domain? Unforgivable!
“The Heaven Dragon Law Domain isn’t a place for you to be arrogant!”
A Sovereign sprout flew at Long Chen, slamming his foot down toward Long Chen’s head, while reaching to tear apart the banner.
BANG!
Long Chen spun his spear and swept it out like a whip. The metal pole slammed into the sprout’s leg, snapping it. Just like that, the attacker was sent flying.
“What a foolish child. It’s a good thing you live here. In the outside world, this kind of foolishness would have cost you a hundred lives,” said Long Chen disdainfully.
This fellow had attacked without a hint of caution—no thought to his opponent’s counterattack, no defense. Simply put, he was full of openings, like he didn’t believe anyone would fight back.
The void trembled. Another figure appeared, launching a palm toward Long Chen’s back.
As Long Chen had expected, it was a feint. The attacker vanished mid-strike.
“You want to play this kind of game with me?” Long Chen scoffed.
Long Chen suddenly spun and swung his hand. The moment a figure appeared there, he was clapped in the back of his head.
The attacker was driven headfirst into the ground, only his legs stuck up in the air.
“Children, it’s best to train more. Otherwise, you’ll have nothing to be proud of!”
Long Chen eyed the Sovereign sprout buried in the ground and shook his head in mock pity.
