Chapter 4388: Precious
"That energy is extremely dangerous. If you enter it, you will have almost ten minutes before it will infiltrate through your armor and enter your body,"
"Once that happens, you will have seconds to get out, or even Prime Rava won’t be able to help you with what will happen next," said Prime Giran.
"I understand the danger, Prime," I replied with a smile, but the old man just sighed.
"I don’t know why you are going there; the blue sartil is precious, but it’s not that precious, and besides, you might not be able to find it,"
"In the past centuries, only three people were able to find it," he replied.
"You know what this metal could do. Especially one that is found in that environment, absorbing that massive amount of spatial power and other energies,"
"It made this metal very precious and will play an instrumental part in getting out of this realm," I replied, looking at a thumbnail sized nugget in my hand.
This is the most precious thing in this realm—Blue Sartil metal.
People will kill for this metal outside; it is one of the best to upgrade the totem artifacts. The one that is found is even more precious.
It is capable of absorbing a massive amount of spatial energy.
Only one thing could absorb more than it that I have; the black tar matter.
The old man in front of me is the highest-level artifice of the village, and he is also one of the people who successfully harvested metal from that field.
"I just hope you will be careful. We had lost a lot of people to that place, and we didn’t want to lose you either," he said finally.
"I will be careful," I replied and I am serious. That place is extremely dangerous, and I have no wish to lose my life by taking needless risks.
If metal weren’t so important, I wouldn’t have been taking such a massive risk.
The old man didn’t say anything other than nodding.
I stayed in his workshop for an hour more, discussing a few more things before walking out.
It is a night and I already had dinner before coming here. I am leaving the village tomorrow; it will be my last trip, but that rift appears.
I didn’t want to leave, but in my research, I found a few things that would require the metal. I could use the black tar, but that is not wise since I have it in a very small amount.
I don’t want to use it on anything other than an actual escape attempt.

On the way, I talked to a few people. They have become familiar, we have talked nearly every day.
Before I knew it, it had been one and a half years since I had come to this place. The time passed so quickly that it felt like it had been only a month.
I am having an easier time than most people in this realm, due to things I could do, but that doesn’t mean I want to stay here—just the opposite.
I want to leave this place as soon as possible, despite all the advantages it offers me.
As always, I checked the formations of the cottage and scanned it with my soul sense before lying on the couch and closing my eyes.
I appeared in my core, and a few minutes later, I was in the library.
Sitting on the floor with eyes closed, comprehending the mysteries of the law of the sun.
I do that twice a day here compared to once outside. It is a little straining, but given the benefits of it; I don’t mind pushing myself.
I am comprehending the law at incredible speed, which in turn helps me with my inheritance.
Working on runes, in turn, helped me understand the law even better.
The runes are the representation of the laws of the world. This is why runemasters always had the best comprehension of the law.
Some learn the runes just to deepen their comprehension of the law.
After some time, I opened my eyes and began to draw the runes. When I was finished, I rested for a while before started working on inheritance.
I am making incredibly fast progress with my inheritance. If it hadn’t been so vast and I wasn’t pushing myself with ancient runes, I might have finished it already.
I want to finish my inheritance as soon as possible, but more than that, I want it the best I can.
The inheritance that lets me project all my power as efficiently as possible and that requires me to give all my efforts.
I worked on it till midnight before stopping.
I got up and went to the practice room to practice Talaras. When in the village, I only practice Garsonath and Talaras; I do not practice the dance.
I have already reaches its limit, so I do not need to practice it daily. I only need to whenever enough limit is opened by the talarsas.
It is one of the reasons why I go out every few months. It gives me a chance to practice the method in complete privacy.
I finished practicing and slept on the ground in my own sweat.
I woke up at the usual time and did what I do daily till I ate breakfast, but instead of returning to the cottage, I walked toward the wall.
"It seemed like you are leaving again," said Prime Wolfden as he met me near the wall.
Few people know about me leaving, and only a few know where I am going. Secrecy is necessary; there are few moles here that provide information to people outside.
"Yes, I will return in a few days," I replied.
"Good luck, and return before the big rift appears," he said. "I will," I replied and walked out of the gate.
I plan to return within three weeks, four at most. The rift could come at any time a month later. If I miss it, it would delay my leaving for years.
It’s not something I want to happen.
