Chapter 4373: Kill

’Beast god mode," I said, looking at the changes.

I became cautious because now she will be more powerful. She will have beast god energy, as well as energy and rule power.

The full power of the burst filled my veins, and I moved toward her.

A moment later, our weapons clashed hard, vaporizing everything around us, while shaking us from head to toe.

"The beast god mode is so-so," I mocked, and the anger burned in her eyes.

I could tell she was trying to control it but failing. The Beast God mode offers massive power, but just as massive a drawback.

The energy of the beast infects one with the emotion of the beast gods.

Even for a short time, this is not something a mortal mind could bear without consequences.

"Die!" she raged and attacked, harnessing more power from the mode. The more power she harnesses, the more it will affect her emotions.

"I dare you!" I challenged as I swung my sword at her.

The weapons clashed, and this time, I shook while she attacked me again.

I defended, but she attacked again and again. She is beginning to attack without waiting even for a moment.

She is very close to losing complete control and wants to finish me off before that. She will have to try very hard for that.

As we fought, she understood that as she carefully increased the power of her attacks, but that is far from enough to stop me.

She opened her mouth immediately, but closed it a moment later.

"It’s likely because they were true faithful of the beast god, offering hundreds of sacrifices every year, while you only offered a mere few in centuries," I teased once more.

"Maybe it is why you are still rotting in here," I added, and it struck a nerve, seeing how her aura changed.

"I will kill you!" she roared and came at me like a raging beast. Losing all control over her emotions.

Energies blazed around her blade wildly as she attacked me.

CLANNNG!

The weapons clashed, creating a massive shock wave that nearly pushed me back before attacking me once more, which I barely defended.

I had just done that when she attacked from above me and then from behind.

Her attacks became powerful and wild, making them hard to predict. This made me scared, but it also began pumping my heart with excitement.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG!

I defended her attack, but they kept coming like an endless train; there seemed to be no end to them.

She had lost control over her emotions. Now, she is thinking of noting, other than killing me.

Minutes passed, and then another. I kept defending against her attack as calmly as possible. I wanted to leap on the opportunities I saw, but I didn’t take them.

I kept defending against her attacks, until I saw a chance, I couldn’t let go.

Rip!

I moved and was immediately cut by her blade on the shoulder. I had predicted it, and strings were waiting for it, absorbing all the energy.

If it had entered my skin, it would have been the end of me.

My attack landed, giving a long cut across chest to stomach, but it seemed like she hadn’t even noticed it, and came at me with another attack.

The defender and another one before moving to attack her once more, which she defended.

Not the next one, which caused the deep cut across her shoulder of the hand, she is using the blade.

This time, she also acted like she didn’t suffer the injury, but it affected her attack.

That attack contains energies that restrict the moment. If any prime, they would freeze the moment, but not her; it only slightly affected her.

That will only be for a moment.

Her energies are strong enough to deal with anything I send to her. That is why I taunted her to lose her mind; without her, she would be an even more difficult opponent.
