Chapter 1911: Yggdrasil

But this is not the right time and place to eat it

Sun Wukong smile and then said

“Then there is this”

Then Sun Wukong pluck one of the hairs on top of his head and blow it with his mouth. That one strand of hair flew toward Azief

Azief saw the strand of hair and he thought that he needs to take it but when he wanted to grab it, he suddenly found that he could not move

Time, Space, and all kinds of laws is frozen. It is like he is inside someone else domain and there is nothing he could do.

He was puzzled

But he sees Sun Wukong smile.

“In this space no one would be able to know what is happening right now. No one should know that you have one of my hair.”

The strand of hair however keep flying toward Azief. Azief could not speak and he could not move but he could hear Sun Wukong words. Even though Sun Wukong mouth did not even move, it is clear that he is talking.

Mayble some kind of telepathic talking.

The strand of hair flew closer and closer and then when it come near it implanted itself on Azief scalp

“This strand of hair will only show its effect when the destined moment came. If the destined moment did not came, then even when you are in death door, this strand of hair will not help you. This is the best I could do for you. When this strand of hair is used, the cause and effect between us would be resolved. I would not owe you anything more and you would also not owe me anything”

Sun Wukong smile. And when he finished saying all of this, time, space and everything else recover.

Azief look at Sun Wukong and he wanted to ask but Sun Wukong made a silent gesture by putting one of his finger on his mouth

Azief understood.

This….must not be known. Azief did not know why but he doesn’t think Sun Wukong wanted to harm him

Then Sun Wukong waves his hand and a scroll appears in front of Azief.

“An immortal method of Riding the Clouds. It would be beneficial for you to learn. There is also a few thousand basic spell. If you integrate it with your magic, it would increase your foundation”

Azief look at all of these and he smiles

” I gain a lot just by agreeing to talk with you”

Sun Wukong shakes his head.

“The road ahead is hard and perilous. I am just trying to help smoothen the road a bit. In the end, it would still be perilous and it would still be hard. Just trying to swipe a few sharp stones on the road for you”

“Is it only because you owe me?”

Sun Wukong hearing this smiles

“My rebellious phase has been calmed down for quite some time. I have made Havoc in Heaven and my story is known. Some are true and some are exaggerated while some are underscored and many more is forgotten. But…..” and he chuckles

“Seeing the young being rebellious, it does reminds me a lot of when I was young. Let’s just say I am moved”

Azief listening to this laughed. And Sun Wukong also laughed.

Azief took the scroll

“Is there anything else, Elder Sun?”

The Divine Monkey shakes his head

“Let me send you to Odin” Azief nodded. Sun Wukong waves his hand and Azief feel that feeling again. The feeling of space and time being distorted and he is travelling through it.

And before he knew it, he is back in that dark space in the Universe. He looks around and Wargod sis till sitting on a big drifting stone. The Divine Monkey is not there anymore

And Azief also look at Odin. Between the Divine Monkey and Odin, Azief is more familiar with Odin

Because he is entangled with Odin and Asgard in various way.

When he was searching his way back home from Earth Two, he went to the periphery of Asgard. He knows some things about Asgardians, the Vanir and the Aesir

Odin look at him and smile

Azief did not need to be told twice. He floats toward Odin.

“I think we did not have many intersection” Azief suddenly said. Odin shakes his head

“Why say things you know is not true?” Odin mutters.

When he spoke, he spoke of a language that he could not understand yet when the voice sems to travel through vacuum space and enter his ears, he instantly understood it.

The Voice of the Heart.

“There is rune” Odin said

“Many things have rune”

And Odin nodded

“There is Alsurt” And the moment Odin said this Azief sighed. Yes, this is the most direct connection

“I would not help you if Alsurt-” but before Azief could finish his words, Odin cut his words

“I already released him”

Azief was shocked but his eyes narrowed. Odin is cunning and one could not just trust his words.

He is different from the Divine Monkey.

The Divine Monkey is mischievous but also seems to have mellowed out as he grows older.

Odin on the other hand is known to trick many people.

This one is not a stranger to intrigues and plots and if Azief trust every words Odin said, he would be surely be in a loss.

But he did not deny Odin words. He would knows sooner or later.

Azief look at Wargod in the distance. And even though Wargod is closing his eyes, it still seems like Wargod could see him and he nodded.

“How can I be sure?”

Odin smiles and then he close his eyes. And then an orb of light comes out from his forehead.

And then that orb comes closer and closer towards him and stop only a few inches away from him

Odin opens his eyes

“My memory. Or a part of it”

Azief is not surprised at this.

Wargod also has this kind of method.

Azief close his eyes and empty his thoughts. And then opening it again, he touches the orb.

And the moment he touches the orb, he sees something that shock him.

He saw an ash tree.

A gigantic ash tree that is radiating life.

It cuts through vacuum by some kind of weird laws and rules.

Around the treen branches are all kinds of fruits.

But he sees more than fruits.

This fruit is not a fruit of law. But each fruit is a world and each leaves contains some kind of life form.

A world on top of a leaf.

A world inside a fruit.

A galaxy that is contained in each fruit.

Then one must wonder the magnificence of the tree that birthed these fruits and nurtures these leaves.

He look at this through the eyes of Odin.

He sees the ash tree; he walk to the ash tree and touches it with his hand

And even though this is just a memory, Azief could feel the thrumming life force. This is a life force that could bring about the death to life.

It could rejuvenate any dead world into existence once again.

It reminded him so much of the aura of the Creator.

But at the same time, all kinds of memories is rushing into his mind.

Or in this case, Odin mind. All the things that the tree had seen is now transmitted directly into Odin mind

The tree spans thousands of realms, it branches and its roots is deep.

These roots are like a line, a path in the starry skies and not many could see its true form as a tree because of how titanic it was.

Earth could not even measure up to even one of the fruits and one of its shortest branches is so long one had to travel millions of light years away just to reach half of its length

And this is just its shortest branch.

Azief had seen many gigantic beings and gigantic buildings in his journey. But this one take the top of his list of the mots humongous, gigantic, magnificent and majestic structure he had ever seen

And the only reason he could see it is simply because he is seeing it with Odin eyes, from Odin’s memory.

If he was the one in front of this tree, his eyes would not recognize it as a tree but maybe as a line of stars and even then he would not think of these lines as branches of a large tree but just a river of stars

But with Odin eyes, he could see it. He could not only see it but feel it

The tree and Odin seems to have a cooperative relationship. The trees sees through many realms, its branches spreads all over the Omniverse.

Some who have noticed it try to get rid of it. But one could not easily cut off the branches and at times, the branches even bring life and energy to these worlds

This is Yggdrasil. The Tree of Life. The Tree of Creation. It has many names, appears in many myths and come into literatures and stories in many version
