Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage

Chapter 604 - 604: 604: The Storm Arrives!

“What! She killed Kim Soo-jeong? Who the hell is this female rogue?”

“Even dared to kill someone from NSK Enterprises Group?”

A wave of shock swept through the NUK players present. Kim Yong-jae’s eyes glistened with murderous intent. He spoke each word slowly, voice like ice. “Say… that… again!”

“I personally returned her corpse to your embassy.” Blank replied, face expressionless.

Kim Yong-jae snapped out of it, eyes bloodshot, his face twisting with rage. “Good! Very good! Whether it’s Orgod or this woman—whoever brings me their severed heads, I’ll double the bounty!!”

“No need. I’ll come find you myself.”

Blank said softly, slipping on her Spirit Tribe mask.

The next instant, Spirit Tribe Moonstep activated, and a blur of afterimages flitted right past the stunned NUK players.

“She’s a rogue, sure—but how could she have that kind of agility?”

“That masked woman—I know her! She’s Blank, ranked tenth on the US Infinite Dimensions player hall of fame!”

Blank moved so quickly she was nearly impossible to lock onto, shocking the crowd into instinctive retreat.

The next heartbeat, she was behind Kim Yong-jae, her blade sweeping almost lazily.

Kim Yong-jae, clad in full level 50 legendary gear, froze in sheer terror. His armor did nothing. Every strike landed on a vital point.

A lethal blow!

-3,000,000!

One slice to the throat.

Instant kill.

“Sometimes killing to stop more killing is the best answer.”

Blank whispered coldly, flicking her dagger. Blood splattered across the faces of NUK’s top players. Her beautiful eyes gleamed with chilling intent. “The slaughter begins.”

Her slender waist coiled, then blurred into countless shadowy phantoms that swept through them like a bloody storm.

Blank’s gaze was icy as she cut through the crowd in a frenzy. With each kill, a trace of exhilaration crept into her brow.

“I’m not weak.” Blank whispered.

From once rejecting the very thought of killing, to accepting her assassin instincts.

Now she could freely unleash her talent for slaughter. And she knew it was all because of that man’s influence.

She was like a peerless dancer, movements elegant and ethereal, leaping from enemy shoulders, every swirl of her blade bringing fresh sprays of blood.

Heads rolled. Every strike was fatal.

Bradley and Demon Emperor exchanged a look, startled by just how ruthless Blank had become.

Even more chilling was what she’d said earlier. Blank wasn’t the type to joke.

She was going to NUK herself—was she planning to wipe them out to the roots?

“Who the hell pissed off that crazy woman? What kind of rogue charges head-on? Doesn’t she know how to sneak?!”

Madman was drenched in cold sweat. This was a shadow of pure slaughter. Her technique and speed made his entire body run cold.

If they repeated that blood duel from before—without Quarla’s help—he was sure he’d end up a limbless stump.

“Show them our courage! They can’t revive in our region’s springs—wear them down to death!”

The S-class players raised by NSK Enterprises were furious. Killing Kim Yong-jae right in front of them was a brutal slap in the face.

More than ten S-class elites charged out, like ants trying to topple a tree, aiming straight at Bradley’s forces.

They planned to use Goguryeo City as a backstop, stalling the Godslayer coalition long enough for other chaebol guilds to join in the siege.

“Godslayer’s strongest warrior! I’m one of this region’s top dragon riders. Face me in a true man’s duel!”

A Dragon Knight on a Domain Lord-class gray dragon roared a challenge at Bradley.

That dragon was a \\[Taicang Dragon], which could breathe high-temperature ash flames—a variant of fire dragons. Any foe nearby would suffer burning from the ashen aura.

Bradley tilted his head down, flashing a mischievous grin. “A real man’s duel? I like that.”

Lightning crackled around him. Velorith, who’d been napping on the ground, lazily spread her wings, carrying Bradley into the air to look down on the would-be challenger.

A terrifying draconic shadow fell over the land. The NUK players collectively swallowed hard, legs going weak.

“So… so big… so thick!”

That veteran Dragon Knight, with years of pro esports experience, stared up wide-eyed. His own mount was barely the size of Velorith’s calf…

Like a little dragon baby. Even if NUK’s pros boasted world-class control, against this ridiculous stat and size gap—what kind of 1v1 was this supposed to be?

The NUK rider stammered, quickly clarifying, “I-I meant… a real contest of player skill! No mounts—winner takes all gear, fight to the death!”

“Real contest?”

Bradley frowned. The NUK rider nodded like a pecking chicken. Bradley scratched his head, honest and clueless. “Velorith is part of my strength…”

He and Velorith could fight as one. Now they wanted him to dismount and brawl?

Did these foreigners even know how to play this game?

The more Bradley thought, the bigger his headache. Using brain cells was never his thing. He impatiently clawed at his hair. “So annoying! We’ve got a ton of other regions waiting.”

“Velorith, fry them!”

Bradley shouted.

“As you wish.”

Velorith’s draconic voice was playful, but to NUK ears, it was a thunderous roar of doom.

Electric arcs crackled from her massive body. The sheer force of her dragon presence rolled over the land like the end of days.

“How… how did they even get such a beast?”

“It’s over! My mount’s loyalty is dropping!”

The mounts ridden by NUK players trembled all over—a primal fear before a superior being.

Just from that single roar, thousands of lesser-loyalty Lord and Domain Lord-class beasts bolted, raising towering clouds of dust outside the city. The sight was downright spectacular.

“Kill them all. Once we’re done here, we’ll hit their starter cities for another round.”

Demon Emperor lifted a hand. The coalition forces unleashed blinding killing light, cutting down any player they saw.

“…We can’t possibly stop them.”

The proud NUK elites stood dumbfounded.

The Dragon Knight was roasted to cinders by Velorith’s breath. With their rider dead, the Taicang Dragon fled into the Battle Space.

Godslayer’s coalition blanketed the land with wide-area AOE spells. The NUK players might be good at running, but legs couldn’t outrun dragon wings and jetpacks.

Their region was like primitive savages, just learning to ride dragons and barely touching high-tier skills.

Now they were up against a mixed army of over forty dragons and a dozen flying mechs. This wasn’t a defense—it was a one-sided slaughter.

Four hours later, the Godslayer coalition had steamrolled the NUK region again and again. Main cities rebuilt, only to be smashed down once more.

It was a complete bloodbath.

“Protest! Damn it!!”

“That Orgod from Godslayer is a tyrant who should be hanged. The US must give us an answer!”

“Pay a tithe? Over my dead body! They’ll pay in blood!”

Tens of millions of NUK players might’ve been cowards in action, but their mouths were always tough.

Beaten senseless in Infinite Dimensions, losing mountains of gear, they logged out in droves to file complaints.

But the NUK government couldn’t produce a strong or clear stance.

The streets of the capital overflowed with angry crowds, all converging on the US embassy to sit and shout.

Soon, the powerful leaders of the NUK chaebols took the stage at these rallies, publicly supporting the players.

It wasn’t just Kim Yong-jae wanting revenge. Godslayer’s rampage had deeply cut into these chaebols’ interests in Infinite Dimensions.

With the game’s commercial value just emerging, its trend toward becoming people’s “second world” was obvious.

Yet despite the massive uproar, the US embassy was oddly calm—no move to ease the crisis at all.

Just two hours later, under mounting pressure, the NUK prime minister expelled several US embassy officials, declaring that allied nations would take a hard line against the US!

In an instant, the international landscape was roiling.

US’s overwhelming aggression sparked a chain of reactions, especially among countries already restless, now urgently strategizing to protect their own interests.

But for the Godslayer coalition, hammering the NUK region was only the beginning.

Back at their war camp, Bradley and the others re-supplied, then turned their sights on the next Infinite Dimensions world.
