I Was Caught up in a Hero Summoning, but That World Is at Peace

Thanks to the first question being related to the Otherworld, I was able to start off smoothly with the correct answer. It’s not like I absolutely have to win, but since I’m doing this anyway, I’d like to get a decent accuracy rate.

“Now then, please draw the next question.”

“Yep, yep…… Let’s see, it’s Question 4 from the God Realm category.”

“Our second question will be related to the God Realm. Among the following, who is a direct subordinate of the Supreme God here with us, Fate-san? 1. God of Flash, Shine, 2. God of Fortune, Luck, 3. God of Earth, Gaia, 4. God of Love, Heart…… You have three minutes to answer.”

Oh, I know this one too. I remember hearing that Fate-san’s direct subordinates were Shea-san and the God of Fortune, so the correct answer is number 2. If I’m not mistaken, the God of Flash should be Chronois-san’s direct subordinate, and the Gaia-san is Life-san’s direct subordinate.

That said, while I know the answer because I heard it directly from Fate-san, it might be a pretty tough question for others.

“Time’s up. Let’s reveal the answer…… Since she’s here, let’s have Fate-san announce it. Fate-san, if you would?”

“The correct answer is number 2, God of Fortune. God of Flash is God of Time and Space’s direct subordinate, and God of Earth is God of Life’s direct subordinate. I bet a lot of people got tripped up by number 4. Many people know I’m the Supreme God in charge of Hydra Kingdom, and since God of Love has a temple there, some might think she’s my direct subordinate…… and while she is technically my subordinate, when we say “Supreme God’s direct subordinate” among us Gods, we refer to High-ranking Gods who directly receive orders from a Supreme God. God of Love is a Lower-ranking God, so she can’t be considered one.”

“If I recall correctly, God of Love is actually the direct subordinate of God of Calamity, Shea-san, who is Fate-san’s direct subordinate.”

“That’s right. Direct subordinates are basically those who work in the Supreme God’s temple. There’s no fixed number or anything, but for me, God of Time and Space, and God of Life, we each have five direct subordinates.”

I see, yeah, I can imagine a lot of people might’ve picked Heart-san. Thanks to events like the White God Festival, it seems the Gods are getting more involved with the Human and the Demon Realm, but info on the God Realm is still pretty limited.

“Alright, let’s keep this moving.”

“Next up~~ Oh, it’s a high-difficulty Question 5!”

“Here it is, the high-difficulty bonus point question. Now then, the question is…… What is the name of the representative of the Kruels’s city from four generations ago? 1. Berdogi Nememishi Arukemi Temejia Mero, 2. Ameshia Temelso Raziel Nikardo Aru, 3. Rimegithe Lenoria Githurd Armetes Anne, 4. Temelso Nememishi Raziel Berdogi Artia…… Now, which one is it?”

“Whoa, that’s way too difficult though!?”

Just as Fate-san said, this is an insanely difficult question. The options reappeared on the screen, and the sheer wall of letters was overwhelming.

Errr, first off, number 3 is Anne-san’s real name, so that’s out. And as for number 4, there’s a rule among the Kruels that their names must consist of 16 characters taken from their parents’ and grandparents’ names, and then two additional letters added to make 18 total, so that one’s invalid too.

(T/N: the 16 character part is hard to translate to english, but it’s referring to their names when written in Japanese.)

That leaves 1 or 2 as possible answers…… but I don’t know which. There’s really nothing more to go on here, so I’ll just take the 50/50 gamble…… Hmm, based on how it sounds, I’ll go with number 2.

“……Now then, let’s reveal the correct answer. It’s number 2: Ameshia Temelso Raziel Nikardo Aru.”

“That’s ridiculously hard…… I mean, is that even something anyone outside the Kruels would know?”

“If you’re well-versed in magic crystals or mining, or if you’re familiar with the politics of Archlesia Empire, you might know. This person developed a new magic crystal mining technique. “Aru’s New Mining Method” was a big topic for a while, and thanks to that achievement, he became the city’s representative.”

“Hehh, I had no idea.”

Yeah, I didn’t know either, but I guess some people do.

“At first, I was thinking of making it so that all answer choices ended with “Aru”, and you’d have to guess the correct 16-character prefix. But I figured that would be way too hard, so I scrapped that idea.”

“Yeah, even people who know about Aru’s new mining method wouldn’t be able to answer that, so good call.”

Yeah, if they’d done that, it would’ve left me with nothing but blind guesses. I appreciated that there was at least some room to think it through.

“Alright, let’s keep things going.”

“Next question~~ Ohh, looks like we’ve got Question 3 from the Demon Realm. We’re drawing pretty evenly so far.”

“Indeed. Now, here’s a question about the Demon Realm. The total number of Dragon King, Magnawell-san, subordinates, most often known as the Dragon King’s Subordinates, is approximately 88 million. Out of those, how many of them are classified as Dragons? 1. About 44 million, 2. About 30 million, 3. About 65 million, 4. About 80 million…… You have three minutes to answer.”

This one’s pretty tough too, but there’s enough to go on to make a call. First, thinking back to what Flare-san and Lilia-san mentioned during the Dragon Carnival, it’s clear that the Dragon outnumber those that aren’t, that much is certain.

So that rules out 1 and 2. Also, during the Carnival, Flare-san mentioned that aside from the event itself, there’s a separate occasion where Magnawell’s non-Dragon subordinates get to show off their strength. The fact that such an event exists means the number of non-dragon subordinates has to be fairly significant too.

In that case, having 65 million dragons and 23 million others, option 3, feels the most plausible. I’ll go with that.

“Now for the answer…… the correct answer is number 3: 65 million. While it’s true that the Dragon subordinates are the most well-known, Magnawell-san also has many non-Dragon subordinates, which includes Beastkins and Magical Beasts. The proportion of Dragons in their camp is about 70–80%.”

“The Dragon King’s forces are really large-scale. Among the Six Kings, I think only Shall-tan’s forces are bigger, right? By the way, how many subordinates does Shall-tan have?”

“Ours total about 1.9 billion.”

“The Phantasmal King’s army is on a whole other level……”

Hearing the numbers like this really drives home just how insane the Phantasmal King’s forces are. 1.9 billion, that’s unbelievable. Well, according to Alice, a portion of those are more like part-timers who only provide designated info, kind of like contracted workers. She said if you only count those in a more typical subordinate role like the other Kings have, it’s closer to around a billion…… But even then, that’s still crazy.
