The Zerg Empress and Zerg Emperor fed the tribe, filling not just their bellies but also their hearts with the feast. Ever since the day their soldiers were forced to consume something they should not have, these beastmen have not eaten right.

The beast race that was left behind in their own world had undergone significant alteration because at that time, their nourishment came from both their farm and the animals they hunted in the wild.

The beast race had momentarily reverted to normal after one proper meal. Zhi Yue was now playing outside with the beast cubs, laughing and running all over the place. Titania, the Empress, had always enjoyed observing kids. He also had his own children, but they were all in Vearth, the Upper Realm, and he could only see them for brief periods of time when he was awake.

Empress Titania stood at the cage as if he had seen something, but at the same time, it looked like he pitied these halflings.

"These people... are they halflings?" asked the Zerg Empress to the elder of the beast tribe.

Lao Naoya responded, "Yes. They are deserters from the Federation Star. In exchange for them staying on the Beast Planet, they choose to become slaves. Is Your Highness interested in them? We can no longer feed them in fear they would also go crazy. So, they were left here to die."

The old beastman's words are cold, but this is the reality of the halflings on the Beast Planet. At least they weren't caught and executed like when they were living on the Federation Star.

The beastmen expressed gratitude to the couple in front of them by bowing down. They thanked the gods in front of them for their goodness, unable to contain their tears.

The Zerg Empress said, "Stand up. This is an exchange, and I am not giving these resources for free. I will be taking these slaves for payment. There is a child at home. He is also a halfling. He lost almost all of his comrades during the purge, and only a few of them survive.

When the man was struck with the stick, the Zerg Empress showed no signs of distress. He has no concern for his own well-being because, to him, he is both a human and a beast, not an insect. Other than that, he is merely a gift that a child of his race can receive. In his eyes, he is just an object.

"Oh~ don't beat him. If you kill him, my gift for the child will get less," said Empress Titania.

Even the Zerg Emperor made a move and waved his hand, a wisp of black flame destroying the stick that was used to beat the slave who had just spoken. "My wife's gift. Don't destroy it."

Hearing the Zerg Emperor speak out instead of letting his wife speak terrified the beastmen. Lao Nao even personally pulled away the beastman who was beating a slave just now.

"Stay back. Didn't you hear what the esteemed gods had said?! Don't beat the slave anymore," Lao Naoya said.

The beastman backed backward, scared. He watched as the black flames emitted by the Zerg Emperor struck the thick stick he was holding, turning it to dust. Had he held onto the stick, he too would have burned to ashes in an instant.

The Zerg Empress peeked inside and saw the halfling that spoke out just now, trembling in pain while on the ground. He is covered in black bruises and complained to his husband, "My love, it's not moving anymore. This one seems to know Little Cid. If it dies, Little Cid will be unhappy."

"Don't be sad, baby. It won't die," said Emperor Augustus.

He waved his palm again, and this time, the warm golden light that fell onto the shivering halfling on the ground replaced the black flame. The halfling's bruises and wounds had healed under everyone's eyes, and he sat up looking healthier than before, his countenance bewildered.

Such an event surprised everyone, with the exception of Zhi Yue and the Zerg Empress. They were all astonished since they could not help but view the scene as though they were seeing a miracle. It never occurred to them that the Zerg Emperor was able to heal.

After healing the slave, the Zerg Emperor looked at his wife, saying, "There, it is alive. Baby, where is my reward?"

The Zerg Empress laughed heartily at this and then leaned down to kiss his husband on the lips. The crowd was astounded by this scene and gasped in shock. They even have to see the Zerg Emperor grinning when he receives his desired recompense.

Tun Shizhe watched this sight with a neutral expression, hiding in the crowd amidst all the presences. He has never experienced jealousy and rage to the same extent as he does now. He himself feels that the God of Destruction is not the Hunluan he knows and loves, even though he just saw him as Hunluan's incarnation.

Nevertheless, Tun Shizhe was irritated to witness his other self contentedly living his life without regard for his past or origin and did not even realize his jealous face at the time. The Zerg Emperor cocked his head to appear as though he was feeling him, but naturally, he was unable to determine his precise location. He then turned his head back to look at his lover.

Lao Naoya invited the two gods to his place and talked about the slave and the payment. After the final list of payments was finalized, the Zerg Empress ordered Zhi Yue to return to the small world and gather all that was on the list.

Thankfully, there are Roi and Reine to help him gather everything, and it only took a few hours for all that is on the list to be gathered and taken out by their masters.

While waiting for the resources to be gathered, the Zerg couple asked Lao Naoya about the situation on the Beast Planet. It was only then that the old beastman remembered that the female Zergs were the ones with strong fighting skills within the Zerg race. They also know that the source of the madness was that forest, where these two Zergs want to go. Most of them had lowered their heads, except for two.

One of them is the halfling wolf from before and the other is a silent but handsome young man with jaguar ears on his head. He didn't speak a word and just raised his hand.

The Zerg Empress looked at the young man, who seemed to be in his teens. "Are you sure you want to come with us? The danger in the forest is something the adults even fear."

The young man didn't say a word but just stared at the Zerg Empress fearlessly. On the other hand, a lot of beastmen recognized the young halfling and whispered his identity to Lao Naoya to be passed on to the Zerg Empress.

Lao Naoya said, "Your Highness, you must bring this young slave. He used to live in the forest before those wild animals had gone mad. He can definitely show you a safer route. It's just that he is mute and can only communicate by writing on your hand."

The Zerg Empress and the Zerg Emperor stare at the young halfling even though he is trembling under their gaze; his eyes were firm as he stared at them. This kind of courage at such a young age is admirable. Empress Titania glanced at his husband, who, in return, gave him a nod. This means he agreed to bring this young child with them.

The Zerg Empress said, "Okay. We will bring these two with us."
