Nameless Death stared at the list.

“That’s… a lot,” he muttered.

His voice made his surprise clear.

“Shouldn’t Legendary Titles be rare? How come I have so many?” he asked, mostly to himself, though a part of him hoped the voice from earlier might respond again.

What he didn’t know was that having even one Exquisite title was rare. And only the top powerhouses of universal organizations and kingdoms had one or two legendary Titles.

Nameless Death checked his first title.

[The Man Who Stood Against Adversity]

Common: Resistance to Fear increased.

Rare: Mental Fortitude significantly boosted.

Exquisite: Nullifies all Stage-4 or lower soul attacks.

Legendary: Immunity to Mind Control effects from anyone at or below Stage-6 beings.

*Title granted due to facing impossible odds. The rarity describes the level of impossible odds you’ve faced and overcome.

“So I’ve faced odds at legendary level? Was I fucking stupid?”

Nameless Death began to curse after he regained the knowledge of ‘himself’. But even with the knowledge, he couldn’t understand what made him fight impossible odds of this level.

“I can understand fighting something that is stronger than you. At least if you do it once.”

“But why the fuck do I have the Title for all rarities? Was I a fucking idiot that liked to smash his head against dangers?”

Clicking this tongue, he moved to the next title.

Rare: Your attacks ignore 30% of regeneration effects. Grants increased damage against undead or immortal entities.

“This one’s completion conditions sounds a bit less reckless,” he said quietly.

Immortality were of many levels. The weakest one kept you alive as long as only your body was killed.

The next one would revive you as long as only your Body and Soul was killed.

Then, came revival from Body-Soul-Core Death.

And finally, Seed of Existence.

From the rank of title, it seemed his previous self had killed a being who could recover from Body-Soul death.

“Wait a second, I can revive despite having my seed of Existence destroyed. So is that considered a higher rank of revival than legendary?

“Mhm, probably not. Somehow I think this type of revival is also counted as Legendary, just a better one.”

Nameless Death looked at the next title.

Legendary: Your Soul Weapon is recognized by the Codex. The weapon is indestructible, and when you weild it, both of your abilities are boosted by 50%.

“Oh, a weapon based Title? But where is the fucking weapon?”

Nameless Death would beat the past him if he could.

That bastard had left nothing for him.

“Tsk, I should focus on the titles instead of getting angry.”

[Watcher of Eternity]

Legendary: Time-related techniques consume 50% less energy. Grants resistance against temporal manipulation.

*Title granted due witnessing the Eternity

“…What the hell had I been doing?”

He didn’t linger on it. It was clear that ‘he’ was a batshit crazy person, so it was better to focus on the titles instead of worrying about his mental health.

Rare: Minor increased health regeneration.

Exquisite: Significant increase in health regeneration.

Legendary: Immunity to Stage-4 or below Death-element based attacks. 1000% increased recovery from Life, and Holy Elementals

His brows rose.

“That’s nice.”

Rare: You become a beacon in moments of despair. Your presence lowers the effect of despair-based curses and mind interference.

“Huh…” He blinked in surprise. “I guess… I was a good person?”

Ancient: Increased growth speed in all Intent based techniques.

*Title granted due to being a Heavenbreaker.

He stopped reading.

“Ancient?” he repeated. “I guess this is a hidden rank. But what makes Heavebreaker so special? I know I can generate my own energy, but that’s it, no?”

Not finding any answers, he moved to another title.

[Walker of Multiple Paths]

Legendary: You are no longer bound by singular evolution routes. You may walk more than one Path without penalty.

*Title granted due to walking on two or more clashing Path of Ascension.

“I guess this is talking about Heavenbreaker and Elemental Path. They clash unlike Awakener and Elemental Path,” he said. “Huh? Wait a second, achievements is a Path of Ascension too. If I’m ot wrong, even Heavenbreakers can use it.

“So this Cole guy created a Path that everyone could use? Somehow that sounds unbelievable.”

He looked at the next title.

[God Slayer]

Common: Slightly increased damage to Gods.

Rare: Slight resistance to attacks from Gods.

Exquisite: When fighting a God, gain a 200% increase in all stats.

Legendary: The Gods feel a primal sense of fear when they are in your presence.

*Title Granted by defeating Gods despite not being a God. The rank of title determines the strength of God you defeated.

“Again? How much of a reckless person was I that I gained so many…. Wait, did the legendary title came from me defeating that ‘I will take your willpower’ Stage-6 God?”

Nameless Death realized he was cursing his past self for no reason in this case. He coughed and moved onto another title.

[The One Who Gazed at the Shadows]

Exquisite: Shadow Elementals, and being from Shadow Worlds are more probable to become your allies.

*Title granted due to gazing at the Supreme of Shadows directly.

“Somehow I can tell that I Supreme isn’t a normal person.”

Nameless Death massaged his brows. He didn’t even bother to question why his past selve was meeting someone who sounded like a boss of all shadows.

[Reincarnator]

Common: Past-life memories are harder to erase.

Ancient: You will keep reincarnating whenever you die, and are unable to revive by your own devices. (This is a cursed title, and hence no abilities are granted except for the pre-present curse).

He rubbed his chin.

“I guess I don’t need to worry about death.”

Then, he looked at the next title.

[The One Who Walks the Path of Truth]

Ancient: Immunity to Stage-9 or below Illusions and disguises.

“Oh? That’s a nice title.”

Nodding to himself, he moved on.

[Loved One of Darkness]

Legendary: You find it easier to handle the madness brought by the Darkness.

*Title granted due to being the Loved One of Darkness.

*Extra Note: The title granted ability is different from the inherent ability that the user can access due to being the Loved One of Darkness. However, it is advised that user does not use the inherent abilities of a Loved One.

Nameless Death stared at this one longer than the others.

“What is this weird note? I shouldn’t use the abilities since they are dangerous? Dude, I don’t even know what the abilities are.

“I couldn’t use them even if I wanted to.”

Shifting his gaze, he looked at the last Title.

[Apostle]

Legendary: Quests will now give 2x rewards.

*Title granted due to being the Chosen of a Great One (Witch).

“Quests? What’s that?”

From the way the message was framed, it seemed Apostles and Quests were related.

Nameless Death was thinking about what that meant when a screen popped up before him.
