Evolution From the Big Tree

Chapter 874: Burning Godzilla

“You, what do you think you’re doing!?” The so-called ‘Underworld King’ seemed to realize something and, with his eyes fixed on the increasingly distinct figure deep within the swirling vortex, he shouted at the top of his lungs.

After a moment, as if he had thought of something else, he continued to yell, “Don’t forget, this is being broadcast live to the whole world! As an Enforcer, are you going to use your power to bully the weak?”

Enforcer—That was what citizens on Earth called the powerful figures stationed by the Demon Court to oversee the planet.

It was a title of both respect and fear. No one wanted to be targeted by an Enforcer because the consequences were far worse than death.

*Hmph…* A cold snort, as loud as thunder, suddenly exploded in the sky.

Little Tenth, glanced coldly at this fool who had just crawled out from nowhere.

[He knows I’m an Earth Enforcer, yet still dares to challenge the Demon Court right in front of me? Is he looking to death!?] But then, as if sensing something, a hint of amusement flashed in the depths of Little Tenth’s eyes. He then raised his gaze to the horizon.

*Boooooooom…* Suddenly, a fiery light shot into the sky.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a beam of light as thick as several dozen meters, like a laser cannon.

“Atomic Breath…” Suddenly, an ice-cold voice came from the horizon.

Looking towards the source, countless figures vaguely saw a massive black silhouette, towering like a mountain, slowly rising in the distance.

It had the outline of a bear but was a hundred times larger than one. Its back was adorned with sharp dorsal fins that happened to be glowing red.

This was Monster Zero, the Guardian of America, who had long reached the Demigod Realm.

Originally an Atavistic Behemoth, he had devoured a Dragon Egg, further undergoing Atavism, becoming the current Burning Godzilla. He was one of the few beings capable of matching the powerhouses of the Demon Court.

And now, he had shot an Atomic Breath from thousands of kilometers away, heading straight for the ‘Underworld King.’

“What is this? No, no! Why, why, Guardian God…” In a flurry of panicked screams, the so-called ‘Underworld King’ let out a series of disbelieving shrieks.

He channeled his Spiritual Energy promptly and tried to flee desperately in another direction.

But in the next moment…

The Atomic Breath, like a laser, descended upon him.

With an earth-shattering explosion, a hurricane, spanning tens of thousands of meters, rippled across the sky. Light and heat erupted in all directions, leaving no trace of the man.

Nothing remained, not even his bones—only a wisp of smoke slowly dissipating into the air.

And following that, silence – from countless people watching the broadcast from around the world.

At that moment, as if in response, the voice of Monster Zero, the Guardian of America reverberated through the sky, “The Demon Court will not tolerate defiance. I do not wish to see another…”

The voice was faint, tinged with the raspy growl unique to gigantic Monsters like him, yet carrying an unmistakable firmness.

The Burning Godzilla was one of the Honorary Members of the Demon Court, personally invited by the Princess of the Demon Court herself.

Aside from him, other notable Honorary Members of the Demon Court included a figure from the depths of China, a Black Dragon from Australia, and others.

The threshold to be the Honorary Member of the Demon Court was the Demigod Realm. Naturally, they enjoyed privileged treatment within the Court, able to exchange Merit Points for anything they needed.

All they needed to do was lend a hand whenever the Demon Court required it.

The Honorary Members of the Demon Court were quite satisfied with this arrangement. This was largely due to the overwhelming foundation of the current Demon Court: the abundance of the Secret Techniques and Divine Abilities, and even insights into the comprehension of Tier-5 True Gods, all of which could be exchanged for Merit Points.

Considering just this, these Honorary Members would not refuse.

As a matter of fact, the Guardian of America, the Burning Godzilla, exhausted all his wealth to exchange for Merit Points and subsequently obtained insights into the cultivation of Nine Tails. Afterward, he surprisingly touched the barrier of Tier-5, the True God Realm through the insights of Nine Tails.

From then on, the status of the Demon Court in the eyes of these Honorary Members rose sharply.

Even the Burning Godzilla began to regard itself as a true member of the Demon Court.

“Thank you…” Little Tenth’s voice filled with gratitude quietly fell on the ears of the Burning Godzilla.

As an Enforcer, it was indeed inconvenient for him to act in front of the entire world.

However, it was different for the Burning Godzilla. After all, he was the Guardian of America, and his actions represented the will of the entire America.

With the support of the public, there was naturally no issue for him to take action.

“That’s only natural,” responding in a low yet resonant voice, the Burning Godzilla looked up at the bright Moon in the sky. Then, using his Psychic Power, he sent a mental transmission, asking, “When will I depart for the Celestial Realm?”

“For you, there is no rush.” With a grin, the Little Tenth added, “As Honorary Members, aside from the Celestial Realm, there is another destination waiting for you, the Nine Realms. Compared to the Celestial Realm, the Spiritual Energy in the Nine Realms is even denser, making it more suitable for your cultivation. If possible, I recommend you go to the Realm of Life; this realm has a unique nurturing quality for life, which would greatly benefit your breakthrough to Tier-5…”

Hearing this, a look of joy flashed across the Burning Godzilla’s face.

However, after a moment, as if remembering something, the Burning Godzilla hesitated and asked, “Can I really go to the Nine Realms?”

He had naturally heard of the Nine Realms. It was the foundation of the Demon Court and its greatest secret. Ordinary individuals would not just know about it; they would not have even heard of it.

“Naturally.” Little Tenth smiled. He appreciated the honesty of the Burning Godzilla.

However, to be frank, the Burning Godzilla and he shared some Bloodline connection.

At the beginning, among the four Dragon Eggs, one had nurtured him, while another had been devoured by Monster Zero.

This was also the reason why the Burning Godzilla possessed a terrifying Dragon Prestige.

It should be brought to notice that among the Dragon Clan, at least the current Dragon Clan, the concept of revenge did not exist.

Although the Dragon Egg had been devoured by the Burning Godzilla, it had essentially been reborn into the world in another form.

Now, if one looked closely into the eyes of the Burning Godzilla, one could even see a Young Dragon roaring towards the sky.

The reason for this was that the four Dragon Eggs had actually represented four different inheritances of the Dragon Clan.

Whoever inherited the legacy did not matter, what mattered was that the glory of the Dragon Clan would be reborn.
