Chapter 3651 - Taboo Ocean

"There is... only one... percent remaining... of the... Taboo Ocean," Yin Chen announced.

"Okay!" Tianming knew that once the Taboo Ocean was fully compressed, the Soulfiend might actually die. The full force of the orderlies had gathered at the Order College, and there were even quite a few wonderians there.

"So where will we bring the split forces?" Zi Zhen asked.

"The Original Sin who's said to have cosmic god blood is kept within the Order College, right?" Tianming asked Jin Xiao and Di Tang.

They nodded in unison. "Yes!"

"Little Fish and I will infiltrate the Order College. Most of the orderlies have gone to the Taboo Ocean, so the college should be mostly empty. When I take action, some of them will no doubt rush back, which will be your cue to save my sister, Zi Zhen," Tianming said. He had already come up with that idea a while ago.

"The problem now is that the Order College has formations. Nobody who isn’t an orderly or a wonderian with permission is able to enter," Di Tang said.

"Is it an illusion formation to mislead trespassers?" Tianming asked, smiling.

"Yes! It's at least a hundred thousand meters across. Not even seventh-level overflowers are able to get through! The wonderians have worked with cosmic god orderlies to set up the formation for the Order College, which is powered by the eyes of heaven," Jin Xiao said, furrowing his brows. It sounded much more powerful than the Sky Palace Formation.

"Got it. Don't worry, I’ll definitely be able to make it in. Once I take action, you should all listen to Zi Zhen's orders," Tianming said. He looked at his left arm; no illusion formation would be able to stop him! It was the ability that he had obtained from his lost family legacy. No wonderian or any other formation master would be able to stop him.

He left some Yin Chens with Zi Zhen so that they could communicate at any time.

No doubt, the reason that the orderlies kept Qingyu imprisoned had something to do with her cosmic god blood. Once she was at risk of being rescued, a large group of orderlies would no doubt return, which was something Zi Zhen would be able to exploit to her advantage.

The plan wouldn't work if the one carrying it out wasn't a sky plunderer in the first place. Typical precautions like formations were useless against them.

Zi Zhen bit her lip. Her confidence had recently ballooned and she was confident about being able to fight on the front lines, helping save Tianming's sister. Before they left, she asked Tianming, "What about Sixth?"

"Sixth is unpredictable, so we can only react when it takes action. Either way, all you have to focus on is saving her. Simply beat up anyone that tries to stop you," Tianming said.

"I'm worried about falling under its control," Zi Zhen said.

"You're different," Tianming earnestly said. "Don't forget that you have your ninehall eyes. You're also an immortal, ageless witch who's recovering her lost power! Your soul’s already powerful to begin with. Most importantly, nobody will be able to stop the flames of rage from your ninehall eyes. If it tries to control you, get angry! Anger will keep you in control at all times!"

"Really?" Zi Zhen seemed shaken.

"That's right! Be confident. You’re at your most beautiful when you're confident. I like how brash and untamed you are. It feels like nobody can keep you under their control no matter what! While it makes you scary to some people, I think it makes you charming!"

"Are you brainwashing me?" Zi Zhen said, raising a brow.

"Yeah, and if you can't save my sister, you're a piece of crap! How about that?" Tianming intentionally put his arm around Moran and ran off with her.

"You!" Even though Zi Zhen didn't transform, she was so angry that she felt like she could already open two ninehall eyes.

Moran even winked at her right as they were about to leave, snuggling tight against Tianming's chest with a look of bliss. Mischievously, she said, "It's a shame that you're so big and can't fit here."

"Why you!" Zi Zhen took a deep breath, her eyes having turned black as she clenched her fists tight.

"Go, go, go, let's depart!" Jin Xiao and Di Tang didn't dare to approach Zi Zhen.

"Does our goddess get stronger the angrier she gets?" Di Tang gingerly asked.

"That's right. It’s why what you said would've gotten you killed if the sacred healer hadn’t stepped in," Jin Xiao said.

"Shit...." Shuddering, Di Tang said, "I get it. Those orderlies are a dirty sort. They’ll no doubt anger the goddess even more."

"Be careful. I worry that our goddess won’t be able to recognize friend from foe and might kill us along with our enemies," Jin Xiao said, slightly fearful.

Di Tang blanked out. Then, all of a sudden, the thirty-two-meter-tall girl rushed out.

"Follow the goddess!" Under Di Tang's order, a few hundred aurumites charged ahead to chase the purple light.

"Brothers!" Di Tang raised his arm and looked toward the Taboo Ocean. All the aurumites exchanged glances and shouted the same slogan: "Specters will never be mere slaves!"

***

The Taboo Ocean seemed to be an ocean of purple fog. The ten thousand eyes of heaven near it all had some kind of purple vein that stretched out of them into the ocean, giving it the appearance of some kind of eyeball filled to the brim with all sorts of sigils. Like wild beasts, the tendrils rapidly attacked the center of Taboo Ocean, compressing it to the limit.

The conditions inside were incredibly turbulent. Liquids behaved like solids, seemingly coagulating into countless teeth that gnawed away at everything within.

"It's finally succeeding!"

"We’ve waited too long for this moment."

Thousands of orderlies gathered near the Taboo Ocean. Like Lord Muhu, they were all odd, single-eyed spiritforms with semi-ethereal bodies and terrifying soul power. Most of those gathered there were overflowers.

As those of the orderly race didn't have bodies of flesh and blood, they looked incredibly odd at the Overflow stage. Their astrons seemed uniquely flexible and malleable compared to those of humans and specters.

When humans and specters reached the Overflow stage, the astrons in their astral brains would have long since fused together with their souls, turning into a spiritform state that was protected by the skull and outer body. In essence, orderlies had bodies that were made entirely out of that brain-like spiritform matter.

It would be a mistake to think that they had no astrons, being spiritforms. Instead, they had even more astrons than specters. While they suffered by being physically weaker, their soul attacks and defenses were incredibly formidable.

Like humans and specters, there were pros and cons unique to their constitutions. For example, their unique spiritform state was a glaring weakness against Lingfeng, who specialized in fighting against spiritforms. No matter how strong their astrons were, they were merely food to him.
